After 15 years of getting my nails done in Swansboro, moving to Morehead City made it tough to find a salon that felt just right. I’ve tried three or four places in the area, but none truly compared—until today. From the moment I walked into Royal Nails, I felt genuinely welcomed. I didn’t have an appointment, yet they got me in right away without any pressure to add services I didn’t ask for. Their prices are fair—unlike many others I’ve tried—and you can immediately tell it’s a family-owned and operated business. The warmth, care, and authenticity are unmistakable. I’m so happy and grateful to have found a salon that not only meets my expectations but makes me feel like part of the family. I’ve finally found my place.

They cut me twice. Once in my manicure and once on my pedicure. Then they blamed me for the first cut because I was talking to by friend at the time who was also getting their nails done. Funny how I'm able to talk at literally any other nail salon (talking is common in salons). I'd bet dollars to donuts that they thin out their polish to make it stretch because it was thin and watery. The gems aren't lined up evenly or near the cuticle as pictured. I got frustrated and let her finish. The polish doesn't even cover the whole nail. My eye brows look great though. 🤷‍♀️
