Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure

The venue is a beautiful place to have a wedding and offers multiple ceremony locations to choose from. The Wedding Sales Manager went above and beyond to help my husband and me on our wedding day to accommodate our needs. When venue staff made a mistake with a table setup, they corrected the issue within a reasonable timeframe. The pricing is reasonable and affordable. A challenge for us was finding a cake baker.

We had a great family getaway weekend. Our unit was Stunning. Golf course was beautiful. Kids enjoyed the pool and putt putt. Everyone was so friendly! We will be back.

My daughter and I spent the weekend at Fox Run attending a friend's wedding. I was pleasantly surprised by the accommodations, the view was gorgeous, and the interior was very comfortable. I would have given it 5 stars, but 2 things really bothered me. First was the lack of a salt shaker, (seriously, they're .50 cents!) And second was a large insect that greeted us in the hall. I actually was less bothered by the bug. (There wasn't an infestation, I think he was escaping the cold) But supplying coffee and NOT a shaker of salt was a frustrating start to our morning. But I will recommend this resort to friends.

As a wedding planner at Exquisite Events and Consulting, I’m always looking for venues that go above and beyond, and Rumbling Bald Resort never disappoints! I am thrilled to share my feedback as the Day of Wedding Coordinator on October 11, 2025. From start to finish, the venue employees made the day run seamlessly. Guests arrived easily in a fleet of vehicles thanks to Van in Black’s transportation, and the new "Mountain Ceremony Site" was stunning, easy to access and surrounded by incredible mountain views. Jessica Thomas, wedding and group sales manager and her staff worked like a dream team: organized, upbeat, and truly invested in making everything perfect. The reception on the Lake View Terrace was breathtaking with soft and billowing, romantic draping that transformed the entire space. Thanks, Berbank Events! Executive Chef Tim’s dinner was a crowd favorite, the chicken florentine and prime rib were fantastic! Guests couldn’t stop raving about the food. I’ve planned several weddings at Rumbling Bald Resort, but this one stood out. If you’re looking for a beautiful setting, amazing food, and a team that genuinely cares, this is the spot for your wedding weekend in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

We had our wedding November 7th, 2025 and Jessica Thomas, Weddings/Groups Sales Manager at Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure, was amazing! Even though I had a million questions and was a little ditsy at times, she handled everything with patience, professionalism, and warmth. Especially after the storm Helene, she had us secured with a beautiful backdrop of the mountains near the golf course. Her attention to detail and dedication made our wedding planning smooth and stress-free. We couldn’t have asked for a better partner at the venue!
