Day 7 Salon & Spa

I was in desperate need of a fresh haircut and Mary did an outstanding job! Bailey did an excellent job on my waxing too! Day 7 offers a wide variety of cosmetic services. I will be back to try them all out 🙂 Highly recommend.

Okay, I only review places when necessary and I don’t have anything against the girls here. This is a matter of skill and customer treatment. I schedule an appointment and wasn’t seen until 20 minutes late (what’s the point then of an app?). However, I get it, each stylist wants to do a good job on the client they’re with. However, when I finally sit down for a haircut, I am asked if I want a shampoo. I ask if it’s extra, and she says yes, which is fine, but if you are servicing someone 20 minutes late then maybe offer for free. That’s just me. Anyways, that’s not my biggest concern. See photos. After a trim that took 5 minutes, I got my eyebrows waxed. It was a decent job, and I was red (as everyone is after waxing). However, I noticed some pain that night but didn’t want to worry about it till the morning. Come next morning (as I post this), this is what my right eye looks like. The expected redness receded but I was left with a scrape of some sort and some bruising, which I have NEVER gotten before from waxing. I do not have sensitive skin by any means. Just want everyone to be aware before you schedule, and if you DO have sensitive skin, maybe best to avoid this place.

Kit did an amazing job. She did a fantastic hair cut, was very friendly, and even got me in for a quick eyebrow wax when I asked even though I didn’t schedule that when I made my hair cut appointment. Highly recommend.

Disappointing Experience at Day 7 Salon I had an appointment today at 2 PM with Rebecca Hauser, but honestly, I don’t even know if that was her because nobody said a word to us. Upon entering the salon, I said my name, and instead of a warm welcome, there was silence—no "have a seat," no friendly greeting. My husband and I ended up waiting for 45 minutes while I watched a woman finish with another client, then meander around the front desk. It’s not like they were busy either; there were three people working. We sat through two ladies finishing with their customers, and then one lady went ahead of us. We just sat…and sat…and waited. No one informed us of how long it would be or said they'd be right with us. The lady at the desk left, and the other stylist never acknowledged us. After sitting there for a half hour, I finally received a compliment on my shoes from someone, but still no acknowledgment from anyone about my appointment! I’m back home for my class reunion, and as a local who grew up in Sneads Ferry, it saddens me to share such a disappointing experience at a business I DONT KNOW HOW TO TAKE POST DOWN Tammy called me and it was a honest mistake of who was doing hair since I said my name as I came in. There is also a Andrea hairstylist. I have known Tammy and Laura Jean pretty much entire life so it I would of known Tammy was there all of this would of been taken care of earlier.. Thank you Tammy for calling 😊

Not just a hair salon!!! My mother in law and I had an amazing experience today getting manicures and pedicures with Julie and Chi (I’m guessing that’s how you spell her name). I’ve been living here for almost 5 months and had no idea Day 7 did nail services until my MIL mentioned that she wanted to get hers done while visiting. Julie and Chi are not only very professional but also so friendly and accommodating. Julie gave us some awesome restaurant recommendations. I’m so happy I found an awesome place to get my nails done so close to my house!
