Noire The Nails Bar Asheville

After visiting many shops throughout the Asheville area, I was looking for someone I could truly trust to do quality work. I worked with Tesla today, and I’ll admit I was a bit hesitant at first after reading a review online. However, he completely exceeded my expectations. The work was done professionally, with great attention to detail, and exactly as I requested. I can be a picky person and he was very patient and kind. I’m very pleased with the results and appreciate the level of care and craftsmanship provided. Highly recommend. Truly did a great job!

It’s hard to find a Nail Salon where I can call my comfort place. Glad I found Noire Nails Bar! I feel comfortable , warm and welcome. The staffs are nice and I never felt like they are talking about me unlike other nail salon. The ambience was perfect! It’s very clean and feels like home. I love Tony and Mary, they never hurt my skin. Their hands are very lightweight. I love their work and how they massage my hands and foot; that’s what I truly need after a long standing work! I will sure to always come back to this Nail Paradise! They were all smiling and very RESPECTFUL!

Your first time at this place they will treat you well, but after that do not even bother. I booked a nail appointment on July 2 with Tesla and it was the worst experience for 2+ hours of dip on natural nails. Dip should not take that long as I’ve been getting my nails done the same way consistently for 3 years and it never took that long. This was my second time back to visit them at Noire. First, while filing down my nails I spoke up saying it was hot and hurt. Tesla said “no trust me” and kept filing the rest of 9 fingers in the frantic manner as the first. Then a walk in shows up wanting her toe nail polish fixed, so I sat with acetone on my overly filed nails for 30 minutes and they were burning. Once Tesla finally returned to work on my nail shape I approved with a “yeah yeah yeah!” a co-worker walked past Tesla and mocked me and they both laughed. Tesla continued to mock and make fun of me as he moved to all my nails and I was trying not to cry. At this point other customers came for a pedicure and the rest of the workers mocked the customers in ear shot of us getting our nails done. It was a completely unprofessional reaction to a customer trying to communicate she had three pedicures. To finish off my nails, Telsa did not use my requested gel top coat and when I spoke up, he said to come back in 1-2 weeks and they will fix for chipped and cracked nails. When I was done after spending $60+ my nails were not all filed the same and the polish had random specks of black and glitter and looked horrible. I came in today at the 12 day mark because I was out of town and they said they would fix my nails as is. I showed that 8/10 nails were chipped or broken and they said they would not cover making them all look uniformed since “that is not their fault.” I told them that yes I cut them because the polish was chipping and my paper thin, over filed nails chipped so I cut them down so they wouldn’t keep catching in my hair. They told me I needed to take pictures so they can prove it, which is fair, but no one communicated that prior. Then I said okay I will just do the polish take off and don’t worry about the clipping down I will go some place else. Then they still kept saying it was a problem, until eventually they agreed to take the polish off. At that point I just decided I would take myself elsewhere. I’m sure this is just a one off but I would be doing a disservice if I didn’t comment for people to beware. Don’t settle on just one nail salon and take the time to try others that are high quality if you’re new to the area. The high rating is because they practically force you to leave a review the first time (which is the best time they will treat you).

We want here for my daughters wedding nails! Tony and Phillip were amazing. The staff here is so friendly! They do anything you want, you will love it here!

I have consistently been going to Noire Nails for about 4 years. They also take me on time and I get compliments on my nails all the time. My husband started getting pedicures with me about a year ago and it's always a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. The owners Peter & Maria are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend them. 10 stars 🌟
