Gould's Salon Spa - Olive Branch

UPDATE: I think it’s important to share that I received a personal phone call from the owner of Gould’s Salons today, and he couldn’t have been more genuine or apologetic. He was kind, took the time to listen, and truly heard me out. One bad experience can happen anywhere, but it means a lot when a business owner shows they care about their customers and are committed to making things right and continually improving. Because of his gesture, I’ll absolutely be back. As much as I hate to say it — especially since this is my local spa — I had a really disappointing experience this weekend. I paid for a 90-minute massage but only received about 70 minutes. I even asked politely if perhaps I misunderstood the timing and whether the 90 minutes included prep time, but the therapist, Lindsay, confirmed it was supposed to be 90 minutes of hands-on service. When I mentioned the issue afterward, she was quite rude and told me she had “worked hard” and that I “shouldn’t get so worked up over a few minutes.” It wasn’t just a few minutes — it was close to 20. The manager on site, Riley, was no assistance at all and said there wasn’t anything she could do, other than suggest I not tip. To make matters worse, the therapist smelled strongly of marijuana, which made the experience even less pleasant. Overall, I was very disappointed in both the service and how the situation was handled. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

Let me just tell y’all something! 😍 My amazing husband surprised me with a massage at Gould’s Spa in Olive Branch — and let me just say, it was EVERYTHING! From the moment I walked in, the customer service was top tier — 10/10! 💆🏽‍♀️✨ But it didn’t stop there… When I was greeted by massage therapist Kirbie, the experience went to a whole new level! Y’all… Kirbie is truly TOP TIER! She made the entire session so relaxing and refreshing — I should’ve told my husband to book me for two hours! 😂 I’m definitely going back! If you’re in need of some self-care, book your experience at Gould’s Spa and be sure to ask for Kirbie! 🥰💖

Wanted to send a HUGE THANK YOU to Lindsey today! We were all nervous about my sons 1st cut in 4 years and she made the whole experience fun and easy and did beautiful work on his hair! She showed absolute patience, professionalism, and kindness to my family today and I won't forget it. Will be recommending everyone to her from now on and will definitely be back for his next cut. This was my first trip to Goulds but it DEFINITELY WON'T be my last. My masseuse Mo was absolutely PHENOMENAL. Her hands are pure magic, I've not felt this good in literal years. If ur in need of a great massage go to Goulds ask for Mo and be prepared to have the experience of ur life!! I just can't emphasize how great my experience was. BTW the atmosphere and vibe is completely perfect to relax, and the cleanliness was off the charts.

I’ve had 2 massages with Erica over the last 2 months and she really is phenomenal!! I have had massages on and off for years as my career is hard on my body. I’ve had great massages but I’ve never been one to book appointments as frequently as I should. Erica has me wanting to book monthly now because she applies the perfect pressure for me and doesn’t overlook problem areas as I’ve had experience with such in the past at different places. Consider Erica for your next massage!
