Would HIGHLY recommend coming here! I did have to wait an hour with an appointment, yet they apologized & were very kind. My stylist was learning, she had most the hard work done by her instructor yet i understand. I just needed a re-touch on some outgrowth and a haircut (about 4hrs) yet TOTALLY worth the wait and price of $65-ish. You have to tip in cash I didn’t know that yet will be back to give a tip when able. I had my hair cut & dyed back in June by a professional who took just as long for a full hair color and cut; not even CLOSE to looking this good for around $250! Will be back here for outgrowth & cuts all the time now!

If you're a Muslim woman who wears the hijab, I'd strongly recommend choosing a different salon. I politely asked my stylist if there was a private space where I could get my hair done for religious reasons, and she was incredibly kind and accommodating. During my appointment, a lady abruptly walked in with two others observing. She told me my request had "gotten the stylist in trouble" and that "they wouldn't restrict male staff for my religious obligations." I had almost no chance to respond. This was completely unnecessary and deeply embarrassing. I simply asked if an accommodation was possible. I never intended to get anyone in trouble, and I certainly never asked for male staff to be locked out. I was told I could finish my appointment, but that this would "never happen again." It wasn't until later that I learned this woman is named Ms. Karen and is one of the managers at Empire. Ms. Karen clearly needs better training on how to speak to clients with empathy and respect. Her behavior made me realize there is no space for hijabis at Empire, and that stylists who try to create such a space risk being reprimanded. This is not just about one manager. Empire as a whole has a long history of mistreating hijabi clients. I will not be returning, and I know others like me likely will not either.

Sandy did a great job and was very respectful and nice. I got a retouch relaxer and haircut for my pixie! She verbally told me each step she was taking and understood what i wanted. 10/10 experience and will definitely be going back. Prices were amazing and affordable and reasonable!

Oh my gosh my experience at Empire beauty school has been great the staff always is friendly. My beautician Lylee who I have had the past few months absolutely is the best.. She goes above and beyond to accommodate me and my schedule and does not hesitate to let me know if my hair is looking unhealthy and needs a trim or conditioning treatment.i would highly recommend lylee and will miss her once she graduates.. Josy was very careful to ask what I wanted, and to explain what she was doing and why. The scalp treatment left my hair so soft and the spa facial was phenomenal! Can’t wait for my next one!! I highly recommend Josy for your care!!
