Claudia worked with me and got me the best hair I could have ever wished for. Not only is she amazing at her job she is the most wonderful person ever and makes getting your hair done not just about the amazing result but about feeling welcome. I have naturally very dark hair and with one session she was able to get me to this, without damaging my hair. 10/10 I would recommend this salon to everyone friends, family, and anyone I meet. Can’t wait to come back!:))

I wanted to say how amazing Maggie is! I came in today with really really messed up hair from a previous salon and Maggie worked so well to achieve the color I dreamed of having, she did so much to make sure it’s achieved and even gave me a haircut for free to help my hair grow and cut off dead ends from the previous salon burning my hair. She was also so so so sweet and fun to talk to and made me feel so comfortable and even asked if I wanted a drink from next door. I HIGHLY recommend going to Maggie for ANYTHING. she made my experience so amazing and I will 10000% be going back to her. She’s gained a loyal client! Here’s the before (horrendous) and the AFTER!!!!

Lua Nova Salon & Spa is beautiful and clean. I loved getting my hair done by Lexie. She is meticulous and cares about getting it done the way I wanted. She explained everything and I can't wait to get my hair done again by her! Thank you so much for all your hard work for getting my hair ready for my professional photos! Definitely recommending everyone I know to Lexie and this salon!

EDITED** What are you talking about? I was going to let this go, but now I feel compelled to respond because your claims are false. I have never called her a name—NOT ONCE. I will be consulting my legal team to review the security footage, as your response is not only outlandish but also completely inaccurate. I am struggling with how badly my hair has been damaged, and to see this kind of response on top of everything is shocking. You are not stating facts, and it’s deeply frustrating to have my experience dismissed with lies. This situation is unacceptable, and I will pursue it further with my legal team. I want to share my incredibly distressing experience at Lua Nova Salon. I walked in excited for a new hairstyle, having shown the stylist a picture of what I wanted—a long bob (LOB) with layers. However, from the very first cut, I sensed something was off. The stylist next to mine reacted with wide eyes, looking back and forth between my hair and the floor, which immediately raised my concerns. Unfortunately, my fears were confirmed as the stylist butchered my hair. Instead of the layers I requested, I left with a blunt cut short bob that was nothing like what I had envisioned. To make matters worse, I was asked to leave while still in shock and tears. My distress made the stylist uncomfortable—yes, MY tears over my butchered hair were making HER uncomfortable. I was asked to leave looking like this, which made the situation all the more horrifying. I can’t believe I walked into a place where, within 15 minutes, all my hair was chopped off, and I was treated as if I were the issue. I felt dismissed and invalidated during a moment that was deeply personal to me. I cannot express how heartbroken I am over this experience. If I could give negative stars, I absolutely would. I strongly advise against sitting in Emma Carlson’s chair, as my experience with her was nothing short of horrendous. Please be cautious if you decide to visit this salon. What was meant to be a fresh cut to help me take a step forward in overcoming my deep depression has only made things 20 times worse. I hope others have a better experience, but I certainly will not be returning. I will be surprised and blessed if I make it out of this one. This has truly been an absolute nightmare and one of the worst days of my life. 😭😭😭 The first picture is my hair before I walked in; the second is the picture I showed the stylist for reference. This is what I was kicked out looking like. I’m still crying over this at 9 PM and can’t believe this happened. I balled up what hair is left and put it underneath a barbell cap, topped with a hooded sweatshirt. I can’t even look in the mirror. My head is throbbing from how much crying I’ve done. Em is detail oriented, personable, and gave me exactly what I wanted. My hair is perfect!!! She’s awesome!! I asked for subtle pops of highlights and got exactly what I wanted and better. She’s up to date with whats trendy and knew exactly how to execute what I wanted. Thank you Em!
