JC Nails

This is a great nail salon, wonderful staff, and they always make time for you!

The salon isn’t crowded and the ladies don’t yell at you when you walk in. The first time that I visited JC Nails the tech told me to let her know if I didn’t like my nails because I am “new to her”. My nails always look amazing! It’s a small salon that provides upscale services and I highly recommend them. Call first to make your appointment. Bo is the only nail tech and her sister does the most amazing pedicures.

I used to come here all the time, but I’ve been doing my own nails for over a year now. I had an Important event so I thought I would treat myself and get an acrylic set and pedicure. Didn’t want to bust the bank so I gave very specific instructions on what I wanted, The cheapest pedicure and a French set. I took out cash to pay for the services Plus a tip, at the end then came a mysterious $40 extra that they could not really explain. Acrylic French With no extra shaping designs or colors should have been 45 in the pedicure should have been 40 According to the board inside the store. I was really disappointed with the set that I received, uneven application and crooked nails, which I believe was the result of rushing. I had made an appointment but still had to wait a full hour after arriving to be seen. The color on my toes did not match the color I picked out . After some back-and-forth about the price increase I was then pressured to get more cash so they do not have to pay card fees. Which I understand and is why I withdrew cash, but being repeatedly told I should get more cash feels icky. I did not have enough to pay for the new total plus tip with cash so I paid with card. I’m just really sad because I used to come here all the time since they were the friendliest staff and had the best prices in town. I will probably give them another chance but my last visit was extremely disappointing:(

2nd time going. Stopped in on valentine's to remove pervious gel polish. Did not want to get my nails done, but felt pressured by the nail tech to pick a color even though I kept telling her no. Asked for "ballerina pink"..nail tech said that was too clear chose a different shade of pink. Only did one coat. Asks if I wanted Sparkles didn't really let me decide, started painting all my nails rather than just doing a accent nail. I feel things were rushed, I wasn't being heard, she was being pushy. I go back to today and ask if she could please redo since I wasn't happy with the results..( I had my receipt) I would have to pay another 30 dollars for a redo. My first experience here was great, but 2nd time around was a real bummer. Sure, I said I was happy with it at the time to be kind, but once home I realized I could have easily done this. You cant see any pink just sparkles.

I have come here twice now and Bo is so wonderful, I absolutely love my nails and the care she puts in to make then perfect. Thank you so much and I will keep coming back.
