I used to love going here until my most recent experience. The nail tech added tips to my nails and they were pointed up making my nails look weird. I reached out to the owner and she had me come back in and see the tech who originally did my nails. I had her take the tips off because I did not like the way they looked or how thick my nails were. She painted my originals nails but I still did not like how bumpy and thick they were. The owner checked them over after she was done and did not seem to care whether I liked them or not since she did nothing to fix them or refund my money. I will not be going back here.

I was visiting this salon from out of town and had such a lovely time. The staff were so kind and complimentary, they made me feel so cared for! I got a glitter polish that I typically would never get and ended up loving it thanks to the careful attention to detail to make them look so even. Got so many compliments on my nails on NYE! ✨

I drive 30 min to come here because the experience and quality is unmatched in the western suburbs! I love that you can make appointments easily online and I’ve never had to wait when arriving. They run on time, things are very clean and services are high quality. I’ve done basic and more specialized pedicures and enjoyed both! I typically do dip powder nails and they are done well and usually last me 3 weeks! This salon is a gem!

Update- after 2 days the gel polish is peeling off 🤬 Requests were largely ignored around nail length, shape and cuticles. The gel polish looks sloppy and uncured in areas (despite asking to resolve this issue during the appointment). The gel polish on one of my toes immediately rubbed off. There was polish all over my hands (some from using a messy table), and the tech was rude and dismissive of these concerns. When removing my existing gel, they used the dremel deeply on my natural nails rather than waiting long enough for any of the polish to soak off. You can still see spots of my old polish on my nails. At this point my nails hurt and look messy. Extremely disappointing.

I absolutely love LAKESIDE Nails & Spa! Found this gem 6 years ago and I refuse to go anywhere else. It’s worth the 20 minute drive from where I live! The salon is extremely clean and you walk in an instantly feel welcomed. The staff greets you by your first name and makes sure your service is done with a smile! My favorite part is knowing that should I have any issues with my nails (which you shouldn’t but should you) they guarantee 2 weeks on dip or gel! I’ve never been to a place that has done that and it’s a great feeling! You need to try this place, you won’t regret it!
