Nail tech Henry - I had high hopes trying your salon! I’ve lost 3 gel nails about 4-6 hours after application. In my 20 years I have never had that happen before. I get gel nails because they last 2-3 weeks for me. These just peeled off perfectly - never has this happened before. It has to be because you didn’t follow what a normal gel application uses. I refuse to go back to get it fixed. I’m letting you know so it doesn’t happen to anyone else.

I first visited this nail shop back in 2017 with a friend and had a great experience. Years later, while looking for a new nail salon, I remembered this place—and I’m so glad I came back. I’ve been coming here consistently for the past few years, and I truly love how kind and welcoming everyone is. I only know Henry by name, but the entire team is incredibly sweet, and I’ve always left happy with my nails and the service. I even brought my mom in for a pedicure, and she was a bit nervous at first. She usually gets acrylic on her big toe due to nail loss and has felt self-conscious about it. But the team here made her feel so comfortable and taken care of. She loved the experience so much that this has now become her go-to shop as well! Thank you to everyone at the salon for consistently providing such wonderful service. We truly appreciate you!

Just had my first appointment with Henry for dip nails. Even though my short nails usually require an acrylic tip, I still prefer for the final product to look very natural (short nails, natural shape, and not a lot of thickness when viewing them from the side). I haven’t always had great success finding someone who can achieve the look I’m going for. However, Henry was great! I’m so happy with how my nails turned out! I will definitely be back!

I’ve been going to GT nails for a few years. I get the dip manicures and they last me sooo long; sometimes twice as long as other nail salons. It’s such a great value. The staff is also so friendly. I never plan ahead and they always manage to squeeze me in on the same day I call.

Disclaimer… I haven’t been there in 8 weeks (geography issues) and my nails are trash because I tried someone else. This isn’t your usual walk-in quality salon. Listen… they do walk ins when able but also there’s so much more to this place… let me explain. The first time I went they had a sign on the door apologizing for having to close early. This was just after new management took over. I’m not sure the circumstances but it has never happened again. I wasn’t planning to go back but the owner left me a message (because I had called inquiring about business hours and had left a message) stating that he would give me a discount for any inconvenience since he was not able to be open during normal business hours. I am so happy I went back!!! My initial services were fabulous. So much so that even though I moved two states away 9 months ago, I still go back because I have yet to find anything event near equivalent in a nail salon. Ladies and gentlemen… EVERY SINGLE TRIP BACK To Minnesota I make time to get my nails done at GT nails. I’m always getting compliments. Henry (the owner) introduced me to Dip and the way I live and work, I never thought nice fingernails were in my cards but he has found a combination of dip/gel that keeps my nails from cracking and chipping for months - literally my nidus for manicure is that my nails are too long and grown out😎 - and I’m a picker when stressed in a high stress job. Mai always does my pedis because she’s an absolute boss and her massages are to die for - ladies and gents, go for pearl!!!!!! She’s meticulous and often reminds me that “the part I like is starting” so that I put away distractions and relax. Yes, everyone speaks English. You will be able to communicate with these amazing folks because they’ve worked to make that happen for you. Furthermore… I was flying in on Christmas Eve and inquired about their holiday hours wondering if I could squeeze in a manicure since I really didn’t like my manicure from the place near where I’m living now. The owner offered me an appointment only for me to realize that he’d opened the shop specifically for me and they would’ve otherwise been closed. I had flawless nails for my Holliday parties thanks to the owner coming in on his day off and going out of his way for me. That is to say, they definitely take care of their regulars! You’ll never have better nails nor service… walk in if you’re feeling lucky (good odds) but they’re great and accommodating enough that you should just make an appointment and secure your place in line.
