Turn North Salon & Spa - Detroit Lakes

Posting late to stay anonymous. Went in for a massage a while back think her name was Tabatha, it was suppose to be a relaxation massage and it was more like a painful deep tissue massage, I requested it to be softer several times and told her it hurt and she basically ignored me and continued, she left the room for a very long time came back and continued. Not to mention she acted like she didn’t even want to touch me and at times it felt like she was just poking me. Not to mention rude comments during it. After it was over I felt ambushed by the owner asking me how it was like she already knew. I was to anxiety ridden and felt like I was going to be sick of what just happened to say anything. What a waste of $100 which not to mention was way over priced! When I got to my car I literally cried and also hurt for 2weeks after due to it.

I received a much needed hair refresh by Natalie! Chopped about 6 inches off and added some foils and I feel so much better! May I add I drove from St. Cloud just to sit in her chair 😍🥰.

I saw Lindsay Schlauderaff! She knew how to work with my hair and fix a different hairstylist messed up. She was great to converse with, timely, and efficient!

I started my lash journey here I went in and Diana did my lashes they were great! Loved them only wanted them fuller next time, when getting my lash filled my friend and I BOTH felt like Diana was being rushed so we felt rushed she did our lashes they looked ok when getting home and was putting on my nighty face mask I need I had to lashes on the end of my left eye so I did what any other girl would do and I called to get them fixed I went in the lady that checked me in was rude I was late but I had already told them we were both coming from work, Natalie attempted to fix my eye I got up looked at them my eyes were burning and watery I told her about it and said I need a few on my right so they match she told me so was out of time and I would have to make an apt, at this point I feel really defeated with the salon so I slept on making another apt decided to call in the evening to see if they could please fix them and the lady told me that they did there best and didn’t know what else they would do pretty much telling me it’s my fault and then still wanted me to make an apt!!! I have never felt sooo unhappy and defeated from a salon!!!! WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!

The salon is over-the-top professional. Lindsey did a wonderful job with my cut/color.
