Nail Studio - Nails Salon Ann Arbor MI

Had a great experience! Staff was super nice. I have really small nail beds and often get made fun of or laughed at by other nail techs so I always brace myself when going to get them done. I had Ben and he was very lovely! He complimented my small nails and made me feel very welcome throughout the appointment. I got a pedicure too that was really great. Love my Halloween nails, would definitely recommend.

I’ve gotten an acrylic full set and a pedicure here and they were so good! Hannah was super nice and always accommodated when I said I wanted anything a little different. She even gave me a cuticle oil as a little gift since Xmas is coming up. Highly recommend!

Ben did amazing! Took good care of my nails. I love how they turned out. I think the effort, attention to details, patience, and service all matched up to the total price. I’ve been to many nail salons (though not in Ann Arbor) and my experience has always been very meh. But this one went above and beyond my expectations and I’m really happy 🩷💫

I booked an appointment for a gel pedicure, same day. An hour later, in fact. Fabulous. Plenty of easy parking, always nice in Ann Arbor. Greeted as soon as I entered. So pleasant. Now on to the important details. I had the mid-range price pedicure. This was without a doubt the most relaxing, extensive pedicure I’ve experienced. Scented lotion, scrub, hot towels, massage, hot stones, heel pumice, cuticles, the whole nine yards. The best part, to me, at least, is that Kim actually got the corner edges of the big toes. Not sure if that’s something other ppl want in their pedis but I wish everyone did it. Ifykyk. My gel polish came out perfect, they let me pick it from the bottles on the wall, btw. I dislike when they insist you look through the painted chips, but that’s just me. Nail studio and Kim will definitely be my go-to in the future. It’s worth the 25 drive for me. 🙌🏼💅🏼

I called ahead made an appointment for shellac manicure and pedicure arrived at 4:30 did not leave till 8:10. I previously had on gel x on my nails and had my nails were quite long and shellac on my toes. They tried to sell me on the dip powder or the gel x several times. My right hand was done first and I said cut a bit of my nails for the entire thing to be cut short. The gentleman did not want to get up and get a nude or white color as I had shown in the inspo picture for four finger that were to be French. Instead used a broken nail polish. When I mentioned several times that it's bumpy I was told my natural nails is bumpy it's not a fake nail. 3.5 hours later I just want to leave I was not given any option on you but 20-22-25%. I would rather have not paid altogether. I went back the next day asking for the situation to be addressed and I was disregarded. I know first hand how important reviews impact business and gave them the benefit of the doubt to correct however they were not friendly especially the girl running the operations I believe Hannah. So unfortunately I am left with no choice but to write about my horrible experience. She went as far as telling me because we just removed the nail polish so doing it immediately after causes the bumpy nails. I responded for someone that has never done their nails sure your lies may work on someone else. Not someone that gets their nails done always. I will never go here again and would not recommend them to anyone.
