I was told my tech could do what was in my photo and then, only after my nails were glued on, was told she did not have those colors. If I had known that, I probably would've just gone somewhere else, but it was too late. I also thought it was weird that she did not prep my cuticles at all; I was looking forward to having them look nice, but I literally left with hangnails. Maybe that service isn't included with gel extensions, but I honestly think it should be, especially for $85. I just got my natural nails shaved and the tips glued on. I know some places have different policies about this though. There was also a double booking, so someone who came in 15 minutes after me had to wait an hour to get her nails done and then I felt guilty and rushed, especially because the design I wanted was multicolored, and since I was told after the fact my desired colors were not available I had to make those decisions under a lot more pressure with the other client waiting. I was going to just move on and not give a review at all, but now the set is starting to smell weird? And I keep them extremely clean, like daily deep cleans under my nails. So I think it's a prep thing, honestly, because it was less hands-on then other prep I have received and the cleaning issue must be something between the nail and the extension. I could be wrong, but this has not happened to me with any other set before. She was nice, but this experience was just frustrating given the price. I don't think anyone should boycott or anything, it's definitely worth a try and the other reviews are great, so perhaps it was just a bad day.
