I wasn’t planning on leaving a review since I didn’t intend to return after my visit, but the fact that my nail chipped only two days after getting them done made me want to share my experience so others know what they’re getting into. I usually go to Yuna (which I’ve had much better experiences with) but I decided to try this place since they seem to be the only place nearby that offers Russian manicure. That was a mistake. From the start, things went downhill. I arrived on time but had to wait before being seen and even after sitting at the tech’s station, she still wasn’t ready. The appointment ended up taking 3+ hours for a simple builder gel with no design. I understand the technician Elena is a junior tech, but 3 hours is far too long for a basic service. She also wasn’t very friendly —not that I expected small talk but even a simple greeting would have gone a long way. At the end, she applied oil to my hands and I was left to wipe it with a dry paper towel (at Yuna’s they wipe it off with warm hand towel). TL;DR: got builder gel manicure, no design took 3 hours, done by unfriendly jr tech and it chipped after only 2 days. There are plenty of other nail salons, try those first before even thinking of booking here.

I’ve been looking for a Russian manicure since moving to Maryland, and I was finally able to find Karina’s beauty studio come out is actually around 55 minutes away from where I live. First time I went there, I had my nails done with Nigina. I liked it so much I ended up booking a pedicure there as well. I got my pedicure done with Kirill. Both of them did such a good job. The place is very clean and sanitary and very cheap as well considering the services they offer! 100% will be my go-to nail salon.

This was my first time getting a Russian manicure, and there’s absolutely no going back to a standard manicure. Zhenya made the entire experience unforgettable, and I will be returning to her from now on. While the process is lengthy and costly, it is completely worth it. The attention to detail, along with the dedicated time, care, and intention she puts into her work, goes far beyond anything I’ve experienced at other manicure studios. This nail studio is absolutely amazing. I’ve been coming here for years now and I have not had any bad experiences. The team is incredibly welcoming and nice. Coffee/ tea and chocolate is always served. There is always a pleasant atmosphere. And, my manicurist is just a gem, An artist! My nails look so beautiful that people literally ask me where I had them done + they last way longer than acrylic…so, totally worth the money. Parking is never an issue. Love my Karina nail studio ladies ❤️❤️❤️

The best lash artist ever — only Yana! I live in Virginia, and for several years I’ve been driving all the way to Maryland, to Karina’s salon — only to see Yana. Yes, it’s quite a long drive, but the result is always worth it! I’ve tried other lash artists closer to home, but I always come back to her — no one does lashes as beautifully and perfectly as Yana. Her work is flawless, natural, and lasts much longer than others. Thank you for your professionalism and for paying attention to every little detail. It’s truly worth the trip!
