I was blessed with a gift card here for my birthday and it was truly an experience. First, the place is deceivingly large.. it has beautifully designed floors and transitions for each service. They also offer so much! Any personal “get right” need you can think of, they’ve got it! Spa services, facials, massages, hair & make up etc! The works. All of the staff were friendly and treated me with kindness and respect from the moment I wondered into their building. Warm feeling in the shop. I went for an hr massage with an amazingly beautiful and bright soul by the name of Trudi! I’d read good things about her prior to and just had to have her! Best decision ever! I can’t say enough positive things about our entire interaction! She is truly gifted! Literally blessed hands by the most High! I signed up for a Swedish/deep tissue combo and Oh my lawd, she went above and beyond my expectations. I could feel the stress and pressure float out of my muscles either each touch🙏🏽 I left feeling like a new person. Physically, mentally, emotionally, & spiritually. Ms. Trudi was truly a blessing and a delight to chat with ! I’m going to have to make seeing her a more regular thing. The body needs this and ppl doing Gods work like her lol! Worth every penny! Thank you ladies! Thank you Trudi!!

Made an appointment in advance for a balayage and cut service. Drove all the way to Pikesville from DC, but I was 15-18 minutes late due to traffic. I called about an hour before the appointment flagging that I would be late and they said it was fine, I can still come for the service. Upon arrival, stylist Stephanie did not want to do the service because she said she was booked back to back and didn’t have time to do my balayage or any type of coloring service for that matter because I have dark, thick and curly hair and it would take too long. I booked a multi hour balayage service, the salon should not have booked the stylist back to back appointments to begin with. She wouldn’t have had time to do the service I booked even if I had arrived exactly on time. I proceeded to only get a haircut since I had gone all the way there. Stephanie gave me a “curly technique” haircut that was choppy and did not look good. I left very unhappy and do not recommend this salon. The prices on the website are also not accurate. A cut was 65 on the website but Stephanie says she charges 75 after she had already started cutting my hair.

I had an amazing design, cut, and style with Norman. I came in with waist length hair and a general design idea and he gave me a beautiful layered haircut that kept a lot of length but frames my face and has so much movement! I will definitely be back for my trims and future styling needs.

About Faces in Pikesville is always a very pleasant experience. The massage spaces upstairs are calming, quiet and clean. I am always welcomed by friendly front desk staff and completely relaxed when I leave. Masseuse DeShawnda is a must. She is always very professional, demonstrates an understanding of muscular needs and I am always completely satisfied with her service. I will most definitely continue to return for massages.

In the spur of the moment I felt I needed to do something with my hair today and stopped by About Faces in Pikesville. Robert was the stylist who did my hair and he understood well what I wanted exactly and did a great job with my hair cut and blow dry. My hair is baby fine and not much to begin with but he managed to do the best out of it. I am very pleased. He also shared some information and tips &products about the issues I am currently experiencing with my hair.
