TiTi a.k.a. T.T. is my nail technician for the upcoming Navy ball and--By Gawdddsss!!! She does incredible work!!! Not only that, I was surrounded by a joy-filled crew of excellent and hilarious jokesters. Everyone was kind and helpful. Titi herself and I had great fun sharing little life things and funny stories. I had the pleasure of sharing the place with several other happy customers, an elder beauty who recommended the salon after her friend had been going for 20 years, a quiet gal and her beautiful little infant enjoying a calm mommy-baby spa day, and another funny customer like myself where we chuckled at the newest trendy halloween cooking show themes on the perfectly placed big screen on the wall. Every single one of us was taken care of, each by our own charming friendly artist with sole individual attention, and all looking like we should on a nail spa day, comfortable, relaxed, and in a near holiday-esque spirit. Titi tested out the chrome I wanted on a sheer pink to make sure it was just right on my toes and then again on my acrylics, giving me my horgeous unique shade in perfect hue. We threw on a few designs by my request and they were so well done, even with a few design hiccups(the color I chose was so slippery, not a single fault to Titi), Titi used her clear artistry and experience to master the adorable bats, roses, moons, and stars that completed the look i was going for. They were extremely hygienic and courteous all around. I have found my new special ocassion / prom / military ball home salon😍 Highly---HIGHLY Recommend!! Walk-in like I did, or make an appointment ahead of time and prepare for an expert, kind, and humorous experience perfectly suited to your individual requests every step of the way. I went to Long Nails for my first manicure in many years. I wanted to get my nails done but didn’t know where to go, so I “shopped” around on Google. Long Nails had really great reviews and a convenient location so I decided to try it out. Well, my search is complete! The reviews were spot on; I had a wonderful experience. Jan did my nails and I absolutely love how they turned out. (pics attached) This was my first time getting builder gel, and either my first or second time getting gel polish. Two and half weeks later, my nails still look great. They need to be filled in due to growth, but everything Jan did is still in perfect condition. I can’t say enough positive things about my experience! Jan was so incredibly sweet and kind, and very skilled at her craft. I was having the hardest time deciding on a color, and Jan was so patient as I flipped through all the different color books. She happily painted test swatches on my nails for any color I thought I might want. This was tremendously helpful and I was so happy with the final color. I’ve never been a “nails girlie” but this single experience honestly has converted me, I’ll definitely be back again and again. I hope my review will be helpful in bringing new clients to Long Nails, just like how the other positive reviews compelled me to go there. You won’t be disappointed!

Worst salon experience of my life! Reading other reviews, Jian has a clear pattern of how she responds to issues. She escalates the situation, causes confusion to make the customer look like they are in the wrong, thus shirking responsibility. I get my nails done about 2x every 3 yrs so admittedly not super knowledgeable. People also have different cognitive abilities and there is always room for patience. I have never been treated with such contempt nor called a liar, especially by someone I paid $100 incl tip during these volatile economic times. The treatment I received was nasty, discriminatory, and accusatory. The venom this woman spewed towards me was unbelievable, like a completely different person. It seems a shop in business since 2008 could adequately service someone who may have delayed processing or other disabilities with grace, this was not the case. (I’m sure the delay on this post will be used to discredit my experience, this was written the day of, I then had to edit for character limits.) I got my nails done 2/14. I asked about these designs upon arrival and was told to "focus on the soak off." Ivy told me I needed dip “ombre,” then suggested using an airbrush, which would cost more. I said ok and thought that was what she was going to do so was confused when she only did gel. I told her fibers were getting into my nails. She kept restarting, tried to blend them and reiterated "top coat will look better!" If she couldn’t replicate the nails, she or Jian should have been honest from the start. The designs on the nails covered the flaws of the application so it was hard to see how bad the actual nails were until I got home. I liked my nails at first glance, I ABSOLUTELY should have looked harder. I spent 3 hrs at the salon and was extremely overstimulated. Once I looked closer, I felt the bumps on my nails, saw fibers, noticed nail art didn’t even have straight lines, the ombre didn’t blend or anything, and my friend told me they applied the overlay way too thick and this could damage my real nails. This was my first time with this service as suggested by the owner. By 2/16 afternoon, the polish on my thumb with the crooked and smeared design started chipping in layers. Went in 2/17 afternoon and owner immediately got upset. I attempted to explain my issues with the application and she kept saying, “You liked them, you said they were cute!” She began escalating the conversation and tries to argue, interrupts me, then said I should let her talk. She told me that it was not about her or about my nail tech but about me, which if this was the case, she would have serviced me and listened to normal critiques. I NEVER asked for anything free or otherwise by this point. We went in circles for 5 mins, she told me to pick a color. I tried to calmly explain the issues and she stopped removing the gel and told me she would not speak to me while servicing me, so we sat in tense silence. Then she says she “values her customers but didn’t think she should do it at all.” It had been too many days and I liked the nails. She did reshape my nails and they looked better, why reshape if they were perfect, right? She started doing my top coat and said I should’ve come in sooner, I said I was busy Saturday and y’all are closed on Sunday. She told me I came Thursday, I said that’s untrue. It was less than 48 hours in business days, which is standard. This woman who told me not to speak to her and stopped servicing me until I stopped speaking, started escalating things again as my nails cured. More people came in and she starts making a scene calling me a liar. How unprofessional to spew such nasty accusations at someone who patronizes your business. It was clear she wanted to embarrass me. This level of ego for really basic work is obtuse. I was so offended by such blatant vitriol, I made the error of not even looking at my nails after the top coat, I needed to go. Of course she messed up this basic paint job, the gray as pictured. Didn’t even bother applying a full top coat on my thumb.

I have only had amazing experiences at Long Nails. The patience Kay has with my (8 & 9) granddaughters is unreal. No matter how wild their ideas or nail designs are she always makes sure they leave excited to show off their nails. Heidi & TT are also fantastic with the girls. So gentle and so kind. The environment is so inviting and hospitable. This by far the best nail salon in the area. The owner is top tier and goes above and beyond to ensure every person has the best experience when they come in the door. I wish there was a rating higher than 5 stars for customer service alone!!!

I absolutely love Long Nails Salon! 💅 The staff are so nice and professional every time we visit. My daughter and I always enjoy their amazing pedicure service they really take their time and make sure we’re comfortable. I also love my acrylic nails; they always come out beautiful and last a long time. Highly recommend this salon for anyone looking for great service and a relaxing experience!
