L' Vee Nails Spa

My friend recommended this place, so I stopped by for a manicure since I was in the area. The nail tech was friendly, but it was clear he was very new and not fully trained. My nails ended up unevenly filed, with different shapes and lengths. The polish was applied inconsistently as most areas had very visible layers (he polished without flattening the brush therefore it is very difficult to get an even layer), while the sides and bottoms of my nails were completely missed. He also didn’t clean the bottoms of my nails, and he began polishing before lotioning/toweling after cuticles, which caused him to go remove the base coat then go back to lotion/towel. I’m only giving 2 stars (and tipped) because he was kind and tried to “fix” what I pointed it out, though it wasn’t corrected. Unfortunately, based on skill level alone, this was one of the poorest manicures I’ve gotten.

This is my favorite place for my pedi and mani ! Finally I found my place and the person I like . Minh is very nice, professional and always waiting for me and advising color and the shape. This salon is very clean , the girls are so nice and friendly and there is a boy who does manicure too and such a great designing style. I am very impressed with this young man. Way to go ! He is very popular too , you have to sign in advance for him 😃. Thank you L’Vee Nails Spa for being there for all women in Bethesda community!

Very nice/clean nail salon with very friendly and professional staff! My sister is a regular here and recommended this place to me and my mom, & I can totally see why!! I completely agree with what’s already been said in the other positive reviews; these nail techs pay extreme attention to detail and really do take their time, which is a bit hard to come by nowadays. I got a dip powder manicure with Minh and i am very satisfied with the result. Hope to be returning soon!
