Yuna Nail Rockville

I’ve been coming to Yuna Nail for a few months now and I can definitely say this is the best salon experience I’ve ever had. In my first appointment about 6 months ago, the owner recommended I switch from dip power to builder gel manicures to improve the health of my nails - my nails have never been healthier and more beautiful than they are now six months later! Little details matter a lot to me, and every single technician I’ve had pays amazing attention to detail. Sometimes I can be indecisive on what design or color I want, but all of the wonderful technicians are so patient and work together with me to make my vision come to life. I’ll never go anywhere else for a manicure as long as I live in the area!

After reading all of the excellent reviews, I made an appointment: pedicure, builder gel manicure, and design. First: the salon itself isn’t luxurious or spacious. The fluorescent overhead lights are really bright and the music speaker by the pedicure chairs is really loud (they play generic soft jazz style music). Last: Sue was my nail technician and gave me the best foot massage I think I have ever had, and she did a beautiful job on my pedicure. For the builder gel manicure, she totally wowed me. My nails look so good, and she did an incredible job on the pumpkin french tips. She is absolutely meticulous, plus warm and friendly. The other employees were also kind and welcoming, and they had a steady stream of appointments during midday on a Monday. Final Review: 100% recommend! I will be back for my builder gel fills, and will probably book a longer foot massage pedicure with Sue!

Love the service and the end product! Anna was great at making me feel comfortable and was great at my nail designs. I can’t wait to go back! I had hard gel from a trip in Cali and Anna was able to redo the hard gel! The place is so aesthetically pleasing and clean! I definitely recommend this place!

This salon has always been one of my top choices whenever I wanted to get my nails done. The atmosphere is lovely, and the staff usually seem friendly and welcoming. However, today’s experience has me rethinking that. After getting my nails done, I walked to my car—only to notice that the polish on my pinky toe had already peeled off. It hadn’t even been 10 minutes. Considering the price, I didn’t expect the results to be this…temporary. I went back to the salon and politely asked if it could be fixed. The staff kindly agreed and touched it up for me, which I appreciated. But as I was about to leave, the person at the front desk (possibly the owner?) told me, “Make sure you walk carefully next time.” I smiled, but I couldn’t help but wonder—shouldn’t the priority be ensuring the polish is actually dry before letting customers leave? If the application had been done properly and allowed to dry fully, I doubt “walking carefully” would even be necessary. Sadly, despite my best efforts to walk as gently as possible afterward, the polish peeled again by the time I reached my car. At that point, I didn’t go back a second time—I figured the outcome would be the same. It’s disappointing, because I really do like this salon and wanted to keep coming back. But if quality control depends on how carefully a client tiptoes out the door, that’s a bit concerning

The best nail salon in the area, this place is super clean and has a very relaxing vibe. The nail techs are very friendly and talented. My nail tech does an amazing job every single time, She really took her time and made sure everything looked perfect. I’m obsessed with how my nails turned out!
