Rochester Nail Salon

I made an appointment for a gel manicure ($37) but was charged $47 without any mention of an up charge during the appointment. I was informed that that was the price for a “Luxury” manicure, which I did not ask for and I personally feel I did not receive a luxury service. Shortly after the tech began on my nails, a walk-in came in for a gel pedicure and stated she needed to be finished within the half-hour. I’m assuming she was the manager, but another tech kept pressing the tech I was with about how much longer my nails would take and that the other customer was ready for her. The woman doing my nails was incredibly kind to me however she did a very rushed job on my nails and didn’t do anything that I expect to be included in a luxury service. She painted my nails and that’s it, and my nails turned out very wavy and uneven. The edges of my nails and cuticles still have the previous polish on them as well. There are several other nail salons in the area… I’d highly recommend going somewhere else if you don’t want to waste your time and money. I do want to reiterate that the nail tech I was with, Lisa, was very sweet. It’s just bad management and customer service from her team that my review is reflecting upon. I can tell from other reviews that they are capable of doing a wonderful job, this is just not my experience.

I had a great experience at this nail salon! I took my two daughters with me and they loved it. They really took their time with me and made sure everything was perfect. My nails look amazing, and I never felt rushed. I’ll definitely be back!

The worst service I have ever received. The manager has the nastiest attitude. I asked her to look at my pedicure which was the worst o ever had. Instead she insisted that the mail tech did her job. Please don’t waste your time or money. If you get this service on the regular choose to spend your money somewhere else this place is horrible and they don’t know anything about nail care.

Somewhat disappointed. Went in asking for them to remove my previous gel and just do a regular manicure. Felt a bit rushed and I don't think she did a thorough job taking the gel off. The regular manicure was done in a poor manner (see photos). Probably won't return or recommend to others. Sorry.
