2025-10-30I had a very poor experience here. The first color I chose was a clear gel with red and white glitter. However, when the polish was applied, the gel was not clear; it was a dingy yellow, and the polish was very clearly expired. The nail tech was visibly annoyed when I asked to switch colors and was speaking about me to another tech in a language I could not understand. As you can see from the pictures, the second attempt was rushed and sloppy. The color was not uniform across my nails, I had a large lump on my ring finger, and there was polish on my skin and cuticles. I tried to convince myself it wasn’t as bad as I was thinking, but I felt compelled to call and see if anything could be done when I got home. The owner told me she could offer me a refund if I came back in person. I was very thankful and relieved, given that a mani/pedi is a rather large expense for a student like me. However, when I arrived, the owner refused to honor what she said over the phone and did not give me a refund. This was extremely infuriating considering I live 30 mins away. Needless to say I will not be returning and do not recommend this salon.

2025-09-12Unfortunately I didn’t get the two nail techs names, but they did an amazing job! It’s quiet in there if you like a calm space, and the ladies check in with you often to make sure the nails are up to your standards. And this place is very well priced ($55) - i asked for a fill, a fix of two broken nails, and a design + french. Very happy!

2025-09-03Katie did the best acrylics I’ve had in a very long time if not ever. Quick and efficient yet these are perfect and the cost was better than any place I’ve seen in Ames. Will be coming back

2024-07-18I went and got my nails done yesterday, I hadn’t made a previous appointment but they still took me in right away and I was tended to immediately. I had the sweetest girl, Tina, do my nails. I’m a bit of a shy and awkward person and she made me feel super comfortable she made sure it was what I wanted. She was very gentle and paid so much attention to detail as my nail design was pretty intricate. Totally recommend!! (Inspo Picture Vs My nails below)
