French Lick Springs Hotel

First, about the location: it depends on where you're going. The handicapped rooms are 400 yards away, and there's a series of long ramps. The room is bigger than some rooms my wife and I have stayed in. The general appearance is good. They are in the process of restoration/repairs and are updating to better standards. The price is reasonable.

This place has been really good people who work here they have a really nice transportation system and security staff too. My room was really nice and clean. Most of all the service area was awesome so I gave them a 10 out of 10 on everything so I guess the only thing they need to work on is try to get more parking.

Food great, rooms great, hot tub pool everything is good. Casino is hot trash. Maybe because im used to terre haute and its a new casino. They have a lot of out dated games, lots of slots that dont work properly as far as sound and buttons. If im gonna lose money I at least would like machines that work properly. Besides the casino its awesome

I can’t begin to say how disappointing this trip was for my family over the Thanksgiving holiday! We had two queen rooms that had not been updated in years! The plug-ins for charging your electronics did not work, the lamp on the night stand did not work, there was no streaming on the tv, and the mattresses were old and uncomfortable. In addition, there were machines out of order in the arcade and the bowling wasn’t working properly both of which we received refunds from nasty personnel. With some of the amenities not working, there wasn’t a lot for our child to do! I could go on and on, needless to say at their overpriced rates, we will not be back! I gave 2 stars for service solely due to the valet and front desk who were efficient and pleasant.

Review: Highly Disappointing Stay at French Lick Cabins/Hotel (1/5 Stars) Stay Date: 10/2025 Our stay at French Lick Cabins was unfortunately defined by a significant lack of maintenance and a failure to provide even the most basic necessities. Overall, the experience was extremely poor, and we would strongly caution future guests to consider other options. The rooms are in poor condition, and the facilities are severely outdated. It was clear that neither general upkeep nor modernization has been prioritized in a very long time. Everything from the furnishings to the fixtures felt old, worn, and neglected, giving the entire stay a very low-quality feel. Compounding the issues with the cabin's condition was the absence of crucial basic amenities. We were not provided with simple necessities like shampoo, which is standard in virtually all paid lodging. Furthermore, despite the unit including a coffee machine, there was absolutely no coffee, or accompanying supplies provided. This seemingly small oversight was incredibly frustrating and highlighted a general lack of preparation and care for guest experience. For the price we paid, the quality and preparation of the cabin were unacceptable. We left feeling deeply disappointed by the poor condition of the property and the failure to cover the fundamental needs of a hotel.
