2025-03-03I been going to lux for almost 2 years now, I don’t mind the prices- I typically love my nails. This time I went with someone I hadn’t usually gone to and I asked for a straight square nails with two colors. I never had a complaint and although I wish they were a little less chunky looking. I love them. It’s been two weeks and I am going in for a fill on Friday

2023-07-03Yesterday, I went here to fix my nails that were done at a different salon. So, I got a fill in and repaint/new design. I was a walk it and had to wait a bit, which is fine cause I know there were people who had appointments. I sit down and show the guy the design I wanted. He gets to work and everything is fine in the beginning. Yes the drill was a bit rough and burned at times, I can get past that. The base coat, the black went on time, but the top matte coats was awful. It’s clumpy, weavy, and uneven. I didn’t realize till I left and was in decent lighting when I saw how bad they were. Less than 6 hours after having them them done, the top coat is already chipping and on one nail there is a spot where all the polish chipped away. I felt like the guy was rushing and obviously didn’t care cause he had to have seen the way they looked cause he had a bright light on them. Paid $55 for these and even tipped another $20 before I even had a good look at them. Now I’m gonna have to spend even more money to get them fixed. I’m not happy at all.
