Alright ladies are you looking too step up your nail game??? Then Ivy with Lavish Nail Bar is who you're looking for!! Even if you're just looking for quality and not trying to break the bank this is where you want to be. I promise you won't be disappointed! I recently moved to Spirit Lake and have tried a few and NOTHING compared to the work that Ivy does. Check out these Halloween nails, I'm totally in love!

Decided to give them one more chance because my friend had a gift card… that was a mistake. The person I made an appointment with wasn’t there. Someone else did my nails, and they are the worst nails I’ve ever had. There is so much glue under the nails that it’s giving me legitimate anxiety. I pointed it out and asked them to fix it - she tried grinding it out briefly, and didn’t touch the other nails I said were also bad. Then the corner of the nail broke off from her grinder slipping. The Mickey heads look like blobs. I now have an appointment booked tomorrow somewhere else to spend even more to get them off and redone. I’m just sick to my stomach, having spent so much money and taken time off work for how terrible they are and having to get them off immediately. If you don’t have the skills to do the nails requested, you should say so.

When my best friend and I walked in we were very impressed with the decor! It was beautiful and inviting to have a nice experience. Overall I’d say that our experience was not positive though. We did not feel welcomed. We were not greeted, no smile, no small talk, no how are you, nothing. We were asked the basic questions, handed a book with colors and from then on it felt like the express lane. Get them done and get them out. I’ve never had a pedicure done start to finish in 10 minutes. He was not thorough at all. Everyone working there talked and laughed with each other only, not with the customers. There was a lady getting her nails done and she LOVED them and said to her nail tech several times how much she loved them…little to no response…no smile…no “You’re welcome….nothing. Then on to the manicure, same express lane experience. Plus the desk space was very dirty and so were the items in the cart. Not thorough, sped right through it all and then used a pea size amount of lotion to put on my hands for about 3 seconds. I got a lighter pink and it is very inconsistent and the look of them and the experience was less than desirable. This was their 3rd chance. I’ll never spend my money there again.

Finally a place that does my nails exactly like I want. I never thought asking for stiletto nails would be so difficult. We’ve live in Algona and they don’t do great, we’ve tried Fort Dodge and they aren’t too bad but couldn’t get the stiletto shape right. Tony did an amazing job on my nails, I am SO happy. I will definitely be coming back!! Thank you so much Tony!!
