Q NAILS & SPA

No stars. This was my 4th visit to this salon. I came for a full set and pedi with a picture and asked if they could do the style I asked for. I was told yes and was prepped for my pedi. While I was actively getting my pedicure, one of the men came gathering my water and tried to grab my purse. NEVER OPENED HIS MOUTH TO GREET ME, just came grabbing my things. I stopped him from grabbing my purse and asked him what do you need. Because why would you ever walk up and not greet someone and ask them to move their belongings. Turns out, he didn't even need to move my purse or water to sit a table across my lap to start my full set 🙃 hmm. Okay. He gets the drill to buff my natural nails, but he puts the drill onnthe highest setting and is heavy handed, so he burned my fingers up after i repeatedly snatched my hand back and asked him to turn the drill down. ALL of the bits he used for my set were previously used. None of the attachments were sanitized or clean. He applied the acrylic sloppy, so it was all over my fingers. When he went to file and shape the nails, he kept sawing into my fingers. YES I SPOKE UP ABOUT IT, and he kept doing what he wanted to do so the only conclusion I could reach at that point was everything you're doing to hurt me in very intentional because he made NO adjustments to how he was doing my nails. Even one of the other workers came over to see what was wrong because I had to keep telling him that he was hurting me. As you can see from the pictures, this is how I left the shop, nails sloppy and acrylic all over my fingers. I was told that I can just pick it off. I asked why was I paying them if I had to finish doing their job for them. It was such a hostel experience. Not to mention this isn't what I asked for. The girl that came to take over did my nails however SHE wanted to do them. When I corrected what she was doing, she kept going, ignoring me. So okay. Not only will I be leaving this review everywhere about how you all treat your paying patrons, I'm calling the health inspector because multiple fingers are inflamed from those dirty, unsanitized drill bits, and reporting you all to the BB. Then, my lawyer will be involved.

Got my nails done by Cathy who recently moved from the Miami to GA. This was my first time at this shop And she definitely did not disappoint me. Was looking to do something fun and different and she made sure to make sure I was happy Thank you, Cathy 🫶🏾❤️

I paid $65 for my nails and was initially pleased, but after just 8 days, 3 of them started lifting. When I went in to have them soaked off for $15, the technician used cuticle nippers at the tip of my nail to separate it from the acrylic. To pry off the acrylic, she inserted a plastic nail between my natural nail and the acrylic, which felt unnecessary and harsh. I specifically requested her to be gentle with my thumb since I had already stubbed it a few times, yet she continued to yank and pick at it. To make matters worse, she used a drill on my thumb after picking at it unsuccessfully. This experience was unacceptable and NOT a SOAK OFF!!!! *WON’T LET ME PUT ZERO STARS*

Gilmary always does the best job on my nails! The shape is amazing and my gel nails don’t break between visits. 10/10 highly recommend!

My first visit and I was completely and thoroughly impressed! I’ve had terrible service from a couple local spas/salons and was optimistic when going in and WOW, what a surprise!! Alena is an artist and very professional. LOVE my nails.*Update: last pic is almost three weeks later!❤️🥰
