Fíka Spa & Wellness Retreat

Wow, this is a hidden gem of a spa that I was not even aware was here in my 8 years of living in Valpo. I had not even heard of a headspa before this experience and now I can’t believe I didn’t invent it myself! My office counterparts and I won a company competition through our corporate office and received a spa day as the reward. The headspa was very relaxing. They take a high resolution before/after photo of your scalp to show how much buildup you have and how it’s gone after. The bed you lay on for the headspa is a full body massage also. All the sensations, smells and sounds are very calming and my hair was squeaky clean after. My silver hair literally sparkled when I walked out of there. I also had a facial that was the stuff dreams are made of. It was so relaxing and my skin is still glowing. Janae did both of my services and she was very attentive to how I felt throughout both services and ensured all my questions were answered and that I was pampered. Janae is very skilled and although her hands are little, she is mighty! Both rooms for the services were very comfortable. There’s nothing better than coming in out of the cold and into a heated bed! Mercedes, the manager, was also very attentive to not only myself but to everyone I witnessed walk through the door while I was there. It’s very apparent that she wants to ensure every customer is happy and pampered. This spa also has some lovely products. I highly recommend this spa and I will be back for both the services and the products this place has to offer. Thank you for providing such great services 🙏🏻

This experience was amazing from start to finish. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere was super calming. I got the seasonal pumpkin latte pedicure which came with a complimentary pumpkin mimosa. My tech did an amazing job and she talked me through the whole process, I would highly recommend! I will definitely be back.

Claire was amazing with my 6 year olds first ever pedicure for her birthday! When we arrived there was a Happy Birthday sign put together for her. They had set her up nice with a mocktail and a heat pad as well. The experience was nothing short of relaxing and comfortable. We will absolutely be back for another!

My boyfriend and I booked a couples massage, and Maria was absolutely incredible! She listened closely to everything I mentioned and truly put in the work—one of the best massages I’ve had, and I was a massage therapy student constantly getting massages. My boyfriend requested that Cady focus more on his glutes since he never skips glute day at the gym, but unfortunately that area wasn’t addressed during his session. Aside from that, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and relaxing. The space is beautiful, and the pricing is very reasonable. Overall, a wonderful place to visit, and we’ll definitely be back—especially with Maria!

I came for a 60-min deep tissue and myofascial release. My massage therapist was Maria and she did a wonderful job. Before starting I explained my lifestyle, health concerns and she listened. During the treatment she asked me a bit more and adjusted the massage to my needs. I could see and feel her knowledge and care for her job based on how she performed my massage. This is one of the best massages I’ve received in awhile. The prices are great, and probably the reason I will be back again. They are incredibly fair for a treat to myself occasionally, especially considering what you receive here is an outstanding service!
