V Nail Spa - Non-Toxic Salon

Got my SNS manicure removed, replaced it with a builder gel manicure, and got a regular pedicure all in an hour and a half. The salon is super clean and I love how my nails came out! They are perfect for my wedding in a couple weeks. The nail techs were easy to talk to and listened to me when I asked for any small changes.

Acrylic extension with French tips by Ken. Done in 40 mins. I really wish he was more careful/takes more time with the extension application. The nails are basically pointing to the sky and there is a big gap between the extension and my real nail. The extension on the thumb in p3 obviously isn’t the right fit for my size, instead of changing it, he filed my real nail deep in so I wouldn’t see the stress point exposed. In return, this will be vulnerable to breakage, uncomfortable because it’s a soft spot that needs nail protection, and the thumb looks crooked. It’s okay to be fast, but at least be more careful. I was up last night just completely sad about this because I’m on a trip to Europe for a month with this nail. $85 + tips. Edit: one nail completely fell off after one week.

This is my go to place in Gainesville when it comes to getting my nails done! It’s a great atmosphere, very nice and clean. What actually keeps me coming back is not the place, but the nail tech! Amy is one of a kind and a true artist! The nail game is very competitive these days and to find a reliable artist who gets it right every time is rare, but I was lucky enough to come across Amy. Wonderful experience here. Amy did a great job on my nails, she is great at doing nail art, I got super cute bluey nails done and the pedicure was super relaxing and my toes look pretty too! Highly recommend & I will be coming back here again!

Custom Design done by Ken came out better than my picture reference! These nails were important to me as it was a set for my anniversary and he went above and beyond! I always trust the process and have never been disappointed! Any design done by him has been beyond my expectations and I always look forward to having him as my nail tech! Payment was $90-$100 but with tip was $120-$130
