Palma Nails

I’ve been coming to Palma for about two years and I love it! Lexis is my nail tech and she’s amazing, always on time, super professional, and she remembers exactly how I like my nails every single time. The salon is always clean, welcoming, and has a chill vibe. Prices are reasonable, I go once a month, and Lexis always recommends what’s best for the health and look of my nails. I’ve recommended this place to so many friends, and now I’m even more excited that they’ve added laser treatments. Highly recommend and ask for Lexis!

I went here in August for a full set of almond gel x nails. When I went to get them professionally taken off in September, I had indents on my nails. Yes it came from the nail application at Palma, bc the indent started where the fake nail was placed. When I realized how awful the indents were, I began to care for my nails personally. It’s now November & that’s how long it’s taken for them to grow out. According to what I read, it was from the nail tech overfilling. I went to maricela. I wasn’t going to make a review but all of my nails are still so brittle where the new growth and indent meet that they are snapping off. It’s been three months of growth!!!! Just gone!!!! It’s disappointing to spend so much time on my nail health, have them grow long & pretty only for the services of palma to still have an effect on my nails. The prices are pretty good, & I did like the gel x set that was done - which is why I give them two stars. But, personally none of that matters to me when my nails are in jeopardy. I recommend finding another place all together.

I always get my nails done with Lexis and I absolutely love the results each time! She takes her time to make sure you love your nails & I would recommend her to anyone!

Unfortunately, I didn’t have a good experience here. I went in for an emergency because my usual manicurist wasn’t available, but it ended up being the worst thing I could’ve done to my nails. I was charged an extra $10 for a gel base that’s normally included in most places, and on top of that, it was applied so thin that it doesn’t even feel like it will hold the nail properly. That charge felt completely unjustified. When I called to express my concern, they told me the $10 service only covered a “thin layer” and that if I wanted leveling, I had to pay $75 which honestly felt like a complete scam. I came in with long, healthy nails that usually last me a full month without issues, and by the next day, one of them was already broken. They also didn’t shape the nails the way I asked, and the person who did them seemed very inexperienced it took them way too long to finish. Overall, this was a very disappointing and frustrating experience. I would not recommend this place, and I definitely won’t be going back.
