Nails Place Spa

My first time there, due to the fact that i recently moved to Gainesville . I was looking for a new nail tech, thankfully i came across to this beautiful place. The service was absolutely amazing! Mai was incredible amazing and passionate about her work. She offered me a cup of coffee and it was delicious. I will be coming back again because of her great service and how passionate she loves doing her job.

I got a full mani pedi. Rose did my toes— she was so gentle and really good with massage! Tim did my hands, super sweet and very efficient! I love my nails!! They are perfect ❤️ I’ve got to keep my fingers short for my massage career. I felt so peaceful and taken care of the whole time. Amazing experience & beautiful result!! I got gel on my toes and dip on my fingernails, so they will last long. Will definitely come again! Loved it! (First review from July ‘25) Second time (Aug ‘25): I wasn’t happy with how the polish ended up lifting some with the dip manicure around 2 weeks (I expected it to last longer)— and they kindly offered me a small discount to come in and try out the dip again. I returned today and Mai was the nail tech helping me. She was so attentive and receptive. She would ask me if she liked how she filed it, and did little touch-ups to perfect the coverage of the nail… little things like that— and it meant a lot to me that she wanted me to love it :) Mai did a really cool technique to make the dip stay stronger/longer this time, by applying it in a bead-like way & spreading it over the surface of the nail. It turned out beautifully!! So perfect. I got a super light pink color. Really grateful 💓 thank you Mai & thank you, Nails Place 🙌 Btw Mai & Rose have incredible energy and make me feel like a princess.

I went in today after a bad experience and was greeted by Mai, she is amazing and is the sweetest person. She was so welcoming and gave me one of the best sets i’ve ever had on my nails! I will never coming back

I’ve been a loyal client of this salon and have always had great experiences—until my recent visit on 9/24 with Tina. Unfortunately, this experience left me deeply disappointed and questioning whether I’ll return. During my appointment, Tina and I engaged in casual conversation. She initially mistook me for a student, and after I clarified that I work for a home builder, the tone of the appointment shifted. I noticed what felt like sudden price changes without explanation. For example, I was charged $5 for a removal service—despite not having any nails on to begin with—and an additional fee for nail length that I never requested without being told. In fact, when I told her I preferred shorter nails, she insisted I keep them longer. I wasn’t informed of these extra charges until I saw the final bill, which came to $85. I paid the total without a tip and left, still unsure whether to raise the issue further. Not even a week later, on 9/30, my nails began lifting from the base, and one even popped off completely like a press-on. I had to glue it back on myself, as I couldn’t get back to the salon as I typically leave work after 6pm Instead of offering a genuine apology, I was met with dismissive comments—being told I should “get my nails done every two weeks anyway,” and that they’d waive the repair fee “as a favor.” This felt more like deflection than accountability, especially given how quickly the nails failed after being done. As a customer who has previously had nothing but positive experiences here, I expected better communication, professionalism, and accountability. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and ensures more transparency and respect

My first time in and I am so pleased! I don’t think I’ve ever walked out from getting my nail done this excited and happy about my nails. Kim did such a good job! I’m a simple girl and she nailed it!
