CoCo Nails Spa

Really wanted to give 5 stars but giving 3.5-4. I truly love this nail salon and always come back when I am in town. Jenny was a pleasure but only a few things that were disappointing that I realized after I left. I showed a picture of a style of how I wanted my nails done. The nail technician ensured she got it but when she started painting my nails I said “wait I don’t think that’s right”..and she said “no that’s what the picture is”.. I said hmm OK, but she didn’t give me a moment to look at the picture again that I initially showed her. When I got home and looked at the photo again, because they looked a bit funky.. I was annoyed, the color and style I showed was completely out of order compared to what I showed and requested. The French tip is also not even lines on my right hand. The first screenshot is what I asked for and the pictures are what were painted. I unfortunately don’t have the time to go back and get it fixed since I am leaving for work travel, but for the future I hope she would’ve taken another look at the picture rather than trying to go by memory of the 10 seconds she originally looked at the inspiration photo. Overall- I do love this nail salon and I will try to be back and I always recommend anyone in Delaware to go here. They have a lot more color options than most salons & it is very clean and my nail technician was very kind. Just disappointed in the style of my nails as it was not what I asked for.

I can’t tell you how pleased I was with Diana and her work. She is friendly, through in detail. She performs exactly what you ask for and is delicate through the whole process. This will be my new salon. The manger at the front was also very welcoming and friendly with a smile. The salon is big and updated. Beautiful light fixtures as well as very clean! I never leave bad reviews, but this experience was beyond disappointing. I came in with a clear idea of the nail design I wanted, and not only did the technician refuse to do it, but he also rushed the entire process, didn’t shape my nails properly, and was incredibly rude throughout the appointment. He made me feel like I was inconveniencing him just by being there. As you can see from the photos, the final result looks nothing like a professional manicure. The nails are uneven, poorly shaped, and messy. I walked out feeling frustrated, disrespected, and like I wasted both my time and money. If you care about quality service or just want to be treated respectfully, I’d highly recommend going anywhere else. I won’t be back.

Coco’s is really reasonably priced and gives a cash discount. I have liked several different technicians, but try to get Rose as she is very sweet, gives a nice powder dip manicure, and does my eyebrows perfectly!

I absolutely love this place! Everyone is so sweet and kind especially my nail tech. If you ever want to get nail art, acrylic nails, or a design go to Diana. You should ask for her because she does nails so good and she’s literally the sweetest person ever. Diana is very gentle, and is super focused on getting you the best nails! I would for sure come here again.
