V Star Nails

A couple days ago I went to this salon with my mom. Our expectations were high because we walked in some days prior to ask for an appointment and the lady’s were very friendly, however this changed when we were at the appointment. The lady was very nice at the start but ended up in a rush and ignored us when we asked her to change something about the design and finishing steps of our nails. She refused to put a topcoat over my nails which led to pearls and pieces of the polish to fall off within 2 days. (See picture above). When my mom’s nails were halfway done the lady came off very rushed and did not reply nor listen to anything we said, which makes us post this review. We do not think that the price you pay is worth it compared to the result you get. What started as a nice girls day ended in a massive disappointment.

My daughter had received a gift certificate for her 11th birthday and we went with her friend that gifted it to her. The girls had a great experience, the nail techs were so nice with them and understanding with my daughter moving from time to time. They both received a manicure with gel polish with an added design.

I got acrylic nails for Homecoming and I was very happy by the result! Walking in, everyone was so friendly and kind. Jenny and John are amazing! Jenny was so sweet and welcoming and John was so hardworking and patient- even though it took at least an hour past closing! Appreciate you guys so much, thanks for everything!

Not the place for me. The staff seemed very nice and I had high hopes for my tech. I asked for regular mani and pedi. My tech was rushing through my service, hurt me with the cuticle cutter multiple times, was too rough cutting my nails, it felt like her tools were not sharp enough and the final result is just not good. She filed my nail surface too much to take the previous gel off and got annoyed when I asked her to be gentle, she didn’t make my nails smooth before applying nail polish so it just looks rough. I asked my nails short so nothing difficult and the shapes are not even. To top it all off she charged me $5 extra with no explanation and I just wanted to get out of there so didn’t even ask. What started as a promising service ended up being very disappointing. I wanted something simple but even for regular you expect something better than what you see in the pictures.

We love it here. So far every tech we've had does a great job. Hana and the crew are fabulous! The salon is very clean and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!
