Lotus Nails and Spa

I’ve been coming to Lotus for years and usually love the clean space, the friendly front desk, and several techs who are truly wonderful. Unfortunately, my visit this past Thursday was enough to make me not want to return. I’ve had Lisa before and her work has never been great, but this time was unacceptable. During the pedicure, she applied so much pressure with the exfoliation that it felt like my skin was coming off. She rushed through the service, left my toes cut up and in pain, and even after painting continued clipping at my skin unnecessarily. One toe is now red, infected, and oozing (see photo). Fast forward to the manicure, She got so much of the gel polish on my skin causing the redness and irritation on my skin. She put about 5 layers of the top coat and was not paying attention what she was doing. Mind you it’s been 4 days and most of my nails are lifting and chipped. **** when she pulled the clippers out of the sterile bag, it looked to me they were NOT clean but I was hoping maybe I saw incorrectly. At the end of using them on me, she put them BACK into the same sterile bag and into her desk- fully safe to assume to be used on the next client. I mentioned my concerns at checkout, but the man at the desk (who I’m fairly certain is the owner) showed no interest in what I had to say. I truly hate to complain, but being dismissed after such a painful, unsafe, and poorly executed service left me extremely disappointed with Lotus Nails. Lisa NEEDS to go back to the basics - not just in skill, but in hygiene and client care. **the photos in the car was as soon as I got out of the appointment, the photos in the house was that night and the photo of my toe was today.

Got my nails done for Christmas ! I have been going to Abby at lotus and she is absolutely fantastic! The best gel acrylic set I have gotten and he’d designs are great!

Lisa is very professional as does a great mani pedi! Her hands are magic with a massage. I left feeling relaxed and pampered. 💕

I’ve come here over a dozen times now because I feel it’s important before giving an honest review. Every time has been a great experience. My nails always come out perfect even when it’s busy. It’s always clean and comfortable. 😊 these are my natural nails with gel polish.

Just stopped in again to see my girl, Lisa, who did the "cats eye "gel! Nails are on point!! The "cat eye" thing tho, think she's still learning but for a beginner, I give her 5 stars!! Just for the effort to please me- I'd give 10!! The place IS clean, they have a CLEAR system in place for OUR SAFETY, (covid questionnaire, temp taken, ASAP, immediately follow by hand washing! Add the banging nails and friendly staff, it's a win win!!
