I had an amazing experience with May at South Shore Nails! She is incredibly talented, detail-oriented, and truly cares about her clients. My nails came out absolutely perfect — the shape, the polish, and the design were all flawless. She takes her time to make sure everything is done right, and the results show it. May is also so kind and welcoming, which makes the whole appointment relaxing and enjoyable. I’ve found my new go-to nail tech and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend seeing May if you want beautiful nails and great service!

South shore nails and lounge is truly the best. I’ve been coming here since 2022. The salon is clean and modern, they have the most color choices of anywhere I’ve ever been, and they have a very convenient online booking system. My nails have been so great, that I’ve had multiple friends ask about them and later become loyal clients of this salon. I’ve had my nails done for years by many of their technicians and they’re all incredibly talented, but May and Winnie are my favorite. They both are honest with what’s best for my nail health goals and design choices, which as a client I appreciate because they are the experts so I defer to their expertise. As a creative myself, I find I get the best designs when I give a level of creative freedom to my tech, so I always try to come with a general vibe or several pictures for inspo and let them do what they feel off of that. They are truly artists. My gelx nails last a month with no lifting or chipping, which is insane because I am extremely hard on my hands and have them frequently in water. 12/10, cannot recommend highly enough, and I will continue to drive to Plymouth for the best nails on the south shore!

I’ve been getting my nails done since I was 17. I am now 33 and this is by far the best nail salon I’ve ever been to. I drive 35 mins to get here. My nail tech, May, is absolutely phenomenal if you’re a design lover. She’s a true artist but is also pristine at simple, perfectly shaped nails. The salon is clean, efficient, and welcoming. The front desk girls are SO friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this salon and have sent many referrals here!

May is truly one of the best nail techs I’ve ever been to! She’s incredibly quick, even with detailed and complicated designs, and her precision always amazes me. What really stands out is how well she communicates — she always talks through the design ideas with me, offers suggestions, and makes sure we’re both happy with the final look. I appreciate that she’s not afraid to get creative, adding her own touches to make everything flow beautifully and make sense design-wise. Every time I leave, my nails look stunning and I feel completely satisfied. You can tell she takes pride in her work and genuinely cares about her clients. I was a nail technician for 14 years so I am super picky when I get my nails done. I have seen May 3 times now and I can tell you she is AMAZING!! She takes her time, is gentle with the e-file, and a perfectionist at shaping. My nails look natural and most importantly they are healthy! The salon is bright and clean, and everyone is very kind! They have an endless selection of colors to choose from, and May is fantastic with nail art! If you are reading this and thinking "should I book here?" the answer is yes, and ask for May!
