Lush Nail Bar

I want to first emphasize that I have gone to Lush for years and can strongly say every staff member that has previously worked on my nails has always done truly flawless work and are extremely helpful and pleasant. I have never once left Lush upset regardless of who did my nails or what I got, which is why I have been coming monthly for so many years. In particular, the older gentleman has done my nails the most and he is absolutely amazing and I could not recommend him enough. This is all the more reason why I am very upset with my last visit. I had booked an appointment for an acrylic refill and a gel polish change for my toes, which is usually what I get since I've been getting my nails done frequently. I was paired with a woman I do not previously recognize. To her defense she was extremely helpful in finding an older polish I had previously gotten, however, this was the extent of positive things I can say. I informed her before drilling down my old nails that two had been lifting pretty significantly, even identifying which fingers. She proceeded to use the drill file as normal, which slipped and cut my left pointer pretty bad. Despite her using antiseptic, it simply would not stop bleeding due to the depth and size of the wound, which I would say was avoidable given my warning. She then told me she was going to "super glue"(bottle looked like nail glue) the wound so it would stay sealed, which seemed unusual but I did not question it. She asked if I wanted my nails shorter and if I wanted the same shape(almond), which I said yes to both, requesting she only cut as much as I grew out. After she finished my right hand I saw that the shape was closer to round, so I asked if she could make it “a little pointer and more almond”. She then says she was doing my original shape and that what I had wasn't almond, but again I figured she knew more so I just apologized for the mix up since seemed irritated. She refiled my right hand but now they looked closer to stiletto. She didn't start gradually and ask me where to stop but rather just took a large chunk off and kept working, and the points looked awful on such short length. I apologized for not being specific and said “I guess I was looking for more of a hybrid between round and almond”, requesting she round the tip a little more. She originally said "well you said pointed so I did pointed", which I can see the confusion from me saying "a little pointier", so I apologized for any miscommunication, but I felt she was being spiteful at this point. I also want to mention that after so many years of acrylic refills, I no longer had tips so it was my natural nail with acrylic on top, more-so why I am upset she took so much off without confirming with me. After the filing was done, I could now see the nails weren't even the same length as my left hand, which was the length I actually wanted. I didn't say anything because I wasn’t sure what could even be done since I did not want my left hand any shorter. I probably should have spoken up more but frankly I was just trying not to cry. I had requested milky base with magnetic polish on top, but due to the thickness of coats the white was not visible. When she did the polish change on my toes(not pictured) she had done just as wonky of a job which was the final straw for me and I had texted my boyfriend accompanying me to call another salon and see if they had a slot to fix this work, since this was for a special occasion and I could not settle for such ugly work. To top it off, she had me pay by using apple pay on her phone instead of the register, which just felt extremely shady given that has never happened at Lush for me. Despite this experience, I still want to keep visiting, however going forward I know now to request a specific nail tech. All the other staff members have done absolutely phenomenal work and have always been the kindest when working with me, and I hate that this negative experience conflicts with such consistently amazing visits I've had.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Lush! The salon is spotless, beautifully designed, and instantly relaxing. Thi is extremely talented, detail-oriented, and always goes above and beyond. My nails have never looked better, every single time my nails are flawless. They use high quality products that actually last, and I always leave feeling like I just had a luxury experience. It’s rare to find a salon that delivers this level of consistent quality every single time. I’ve been going here for years and wouldn’t trust my nails to anyone else!

I have been coming to Lush Nail Bar consistently for around two years now, and I have nothing but amazing things to say about this salon! All of the staff are so friendly and skilled at what they do. I book my appointments with Tih, he is so talented and kind. I always leave the salon obsessed with my nails. I highly recommend paying Lush Nail Bar a visit, they are definitely the best nail salon in the area!

Everyone at the store is so nice and welcoming! Zen was especially sweet — she made sure to check with me on each change she made to my nails to be sure I liked them, which I really appreciated. She was also so kind and easy to talk to, which made the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Best experience I have ever had at a nail salon! The area is spacious and clean. The nail techs and employees pay very close attention to detail and are so knowledgeable and friendly about your overall experience. Vicky is wonderful and Kathy is amazing at nail art!
