Crystal Nails

I found this place online and decided to try it out. They took so long and the worst nail painting job as well. The ladies were somewhat friendly but they clearly talk about you in front of you in their own language also caught me off guard when they asked me for more tip after I was done paying. $85 for a full set and $65 for a basic gel pedicure is a little much and I tipped $10 for nails I didn’t even like. I corrected the ladies more than a few times and they just didn’t know I was asking for or kept doing the same thing over and over. Messy French tips and polish on my fingers left from a “manicure”. My nails were also sticky and got lots of lint shortly after

I highly recommend this salon. I showed the lady one picture of what I wanted (french tips with a thin line, something a little more on the natural side) and she replicated it almost perfectly! They’re also very nice and sweet, they gave me and my friend water bottles and treated us so well. Their salon is beautiful.

I regret coming here..my usual place couldn't take me last minute and I didn't want to wait..so I decided to drive down El Camino to find a nail salon. I decided to come here because I needed to go to the Japanese market nearby..so I'm thinking two bird one stone. I came in and was immediately greeted by the lady behind the counter. I told her I needed a fill and she provided me with a price. The lady told me a very reasonable price. Sat down the nail tech did my fill. All was well..I left satisfied. Went home..my nail chipped the next day. So I came back in to get it fixed. The lady asked me "what did you do to make your nail chip.." I told her I don't know.. The lady fixed my nail. I thought all was fine.. Then the next day my nail chipped again!!! I was so disappointment.. I will not be coming back here..this place charged $55 for a fill which is very cheap..but cheap obviously does not equate to good quality.

Wonderful service , may daughter had to take a nail off for pukse ox for surgery and they did a great job and didn't even charge us. I was so impressed with the clean shop and nice ladies 😁

TLDR: It took nearly 3 hours, 1 of which was spent applying acrylic incorrectly on my nails (& fingers) for a full set, & when speaking to the owner about how I’ve never had this happen before, she said “yeah I’m sorry” & walked away to have someone else “deal” with me. I admit Sunday was likely a very busy day for Crystal Nails, but my friend had given great recommendations so I thought I would try it. Our 2:30 appointment wasn’t really honored, we all got split up and one friend waited 20 mins before being served. I was convinced to get a full set instead of a fill & they kept pushing me to get a pedicure when I said no thanks. Nail removal was done in the weirdest way, a nail tech and the owner(?) did it together but the nail tech couldn’t do it alone... when it was time to apply the acrylic, I don’t believe this tech was trained or was in training. She didn’t know how to apply it and ended up putting so many layers in various locations that my entire fingers back and front were covered in acrylic residue. Not to mention it took her nearly 5-10 minutes per finger... when she finished she actually told me someone else would finish me and thus I had to wait while my fingers hardened with acrylic. The 1 Star is because the new nail tech fixed my nails and made them actually cute. After I was getting ready to leave the owner tried to help me remove the acrylic residue from my hands & when I complained she was pretty rude, just said “yeah I’m sorry” & walked away to have someone else charge me for my nails. Worst nail experience of my life. I will not return & I do not recommend.
