Oh My Nail

I have never had such a poor experience enough to sit in front of a nail salon and write this entire review at 9pm. READ IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST TIME. Tonight was my first time coming here. I called at 6:30pm to ask if they had enough time for a mani pedi. They said yes to come now. I got there by 7pm and asked them if it’s still okay. The older woman said yes. I told her mani pedi with gel and everything was going well. I tried asking her what time is her last appointment because I saw I was the last one. She didn’t understand which is okay. It wasn’t until another woman walked in and started my mani. I told her I wanted a purple French tip. There was no problem she did it to my toes first. When she got to my hands, it’s like she stopped caring and did whatever she needed to do get it done. They were blobby. She knew they looked bad so she said the nail polish moved by the time she got to the 5th nail. I noticed she was in a rush and frustrated and I asked her if we could do it tomorrow and she insisted we finish it today. She took the tips off and started again on the first hand and how she was just painting carelessly and telling me, “you came late, you came late and this needs more time. Next time call and tell us gel French tip.” She even started filing off a correction off a fresh nail from the lamp when I was trying to get her to connect the polish to the corner of the nail. I was understanding but she made me feel bad for keeping her after I offered to come later. She wasn’t rude but she was passive aggressive and took it out on my nails.. almost blaming me for how they looked. She top coated only the tops and not the corners. So I’m pretty sure my gel is going to lift in a week since there’s no top coat on the corners. The energy was bad and I felt horrible that I couldn’t help but start crying because i genuinely considered her time and she used up mine to make me feel like a burden and bad customer. The older woman apologized when I told her I’m unhappy and stressed. The younger lady said “everyone has stress” and giggled a little. I can’t believe how careless she was. I told her, why did you take me if there wasn’t enough time? And she said, “next time we’ll say no. We close at 7” I do like my toes but my mani was such a bad experience. And after all that, she wanted to charge me $105. I told her no. She did her job but made me feel horrible and cry! I’m not a cryer. I don’t know what was said but I gave her $100 because yes I held her and I respect peoples time, but never will I chose to take her time again. I let the older woman keep the tip. I honestly didn’t even know what this experience was worth after being made to feel horrible but I’m never coming here again. So fyi, don’t ask to come anytime after 6:30pm for anything beyond 1 service because they “close” at 7pm. Also, I included a reference I showed her on how I wanted my French tip to look, just with purple and a glossy pink base.

I recently moved to Alhambra, and I kept eyeing this nail place. FINALLY decided to make an appointment for a pedicure. Got there early on a friday afternoon. They weren't busy, so no wait at all. Lisa and Vivian were very sweet. Pre covid, I would get pedicures every two weeks, but my nail place of 20 years changed owners, and I just didn't bother finding a new place. BUT!! I think I found it now!! I really enjoyed my experience here and will be coming back for sure!! They do offer multiple services and have different packages. All things considered, their prices are reasonable. It's in a shopping center so there was plenty of parking AND they are open 7 days a week!

First time here and I really like how Kim scrubbed my feet and made them so soft. Vivian manicure was well worth it as well. I will be coming back for sure.

This was my first time going but Lisa did such a fantastic job, the salon was very clean and she finished both pedicure and manicure within an hour. ❤️❤️❤️❤️😭thank you! They also have scalp hair spa and facials - check them out!

Lisa is a perfectionist like me :) love her ! She put gel x on all my toes to make them even and did such a cute red French tip I’m obsessed with my feet 🎈🤗 thank you .
