I really wanted to like this place. Unfortunately, I cannot. I went on a Tuesday afternoon, I was the only customer there. I went for a gel mani and regular pedi, and Moon helped me. I really liked how she did my cuticles since she managed not to cut me like other places usually do. Moon tried to cut my barely there ingrown toe nails and while I appreciated it, it hurt my toe quite a bit and it hasn’t stopped hurting since. It’s now Thursday and it’s still swollen and pus is now coming out. The tools were either not sanitized, or her method was not executed well. The gel mani polish was kind of dry and barely had any left, and she tried to use it anyway, creating uneven polishing on my nails, with some areas semi transparent, and others are opaque. She even put another layer of color polish after she put on top coat and cured. Her polishing skills were also lacking- uneven polishing at the nail bed. While Moon was sweet, I couldn’t go back.

Don't go to Moon for a dip powder manicure because she cannot do it. I paid full price for the worst manicure of my life here. I made an appointment two days prior and arrived on time. I was the only one at the salon so Moon came to me immediately. I told her that I wanted an ombre french dip with dip powder and asked if she could do it. She said yes and proceeded to waste my time for TWO. HOURS. Here's a break down of the timeline since it's important, and I told Moon when I booked my appointment that I had work at 3PM and needed to leave before then. 1PM - my appointment 3PM - work began for me and I needed to leave by then During my manicure, Moon was getting frustrated because she couldn't do it. When I noticed that she was attempting to give me a classic french tip instead of an ombre, I flat out asked her if she knew how to do it. That's when she admitted that she doesn't know how. At this point, I had been at the salon for an hour and I told her that I would be fine with a classic french tip Guys. SHE DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO DO DIP POWDER!!! I don't know why she even offers it as a service. My manicure came out lumpy and the tips were awful, they weren't clean. When I inspected them, she sheepishly asked, "they look bad, huh?" GIRL, YES! At that point, it was 2:40PM. So I said, "Moon, you're aware I have to leave BY 20 minutes. Where can we go from here?" She said she's better at gel and she could do that for me instead, so we proceeded. Even with gel, the manicure didn't look really good because she tacked on the gel on top of the powder she put on. I have natural nails so she put SO MUCH product on my actual nails that the products began to chip two days later and my actual nails started to break. At the end of my manicure, Moon charged me $50. She didn't offer a discount for wasting two hours of my life for the worst manicure I've ever had. On top of that, after I paid, she said "see you next week!" I asked her what she meant because I did NOT give her any indication that I wanted to return. She replied "so I could fix your nails." Umm, excuse me?? Why would I EVER return to your awful salon for your terrible skills??? Plus, she had charged me full price -- did that mean she'd do the same if I were to have returned for her to try to salvage what she wrecked? I just told her that I wouldn't return. It seemed very arrogant of her to assume I would trust her again. I really wish I had images to show you all just how bad Moon's skills are, but I was so embarrassed at the manicure she gave me that I didn't want to take any photos at the time. This was early July, so this was about three weeks ago

First and foremost the ladies here are absolutely sweet and kind. Customer service was great. The quality is where they lost me. I wasn’t going to write a negative review but I did spend my hard earned money for a full set of acrylics and gel pedicure. Pedicure was okay. My manicure lifted after 48 hours. One mail came off and at least 2 chipped at the cuticle and one more lifted. During the manicure, they did not push back the cuticle, which I guess means it wasn’t a real manicure, just acrylic on top of the nail. I did go back and let her know the issue and she was willing to fix one of the nails and do a “fill” for $20. I thanked her and went somewhere else.

Do not go here! They are very unprofessional and rude. If I could give them 0 stars I would! Worst Nail Salon I've ever been to!

I saw that this nail shop had opened recently near me and decided to check it out since they were having specials for their first month open. The inside was bright and cleanly. I got a regular manicure and a wax. The owner, Moon, was a sweet lady and was patient with my indecisiveness and helped me pick a color. The waxing room was also clean and both the waxing and manicure were done quickly. I had a pleasant experience and was happy with how both turned out. I hope this little nail shop does well. Congrats on the grand opening ! Next time I'll be back for a gel manicure!
