I like many aspects of Vena; the problematic area for me is air quality. At times fresh air is circulating, at other times it is not and the fingernail chemicals hurt my throat and make me regret my choice to be there. And I often think of how bad these fumes must be for the workers. I hope you can improve this. Opening the door is not enough. Thank you.

I really like Vena Nail Salon. As a new resident of Alameda, I tried a few salons. Vena is the best. The place is very clean and organized and everyone on staff is warm and friendly. It’s easy to book online and check in upon arrival. The nail polish section is also very tidy. I’ve been getting the deluxe pedicure with extra leg massaging and sea salt. I highly recommend it and I recommend Vena Nail Salon.

Edit: Still ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Just went back for a second visit and service was just as top notch as last time! Ann (finally got her name!) did my pedicure once again and Amy did my Gel X. Already looking forward to my next visit! It was my first time at Vena’s today, and they did not disappoint. I booked an appointment with Mindy online and arrived on time. Unfortunately, they were running a few minutes behind schedule due to customers having a hard time finding parking because of construction along Santa Clara and Central, but they were all very apologetic about the delay. I got their signature golden pedicure and Gel-X. My pedicure felt great. I asked my technician (sorry, didn’t get her name!) to cut off the dry skin on the sides of my toenails, and she was very careful about it. My only complaint is that I wish she had exfoliated my heel a little bit more, but she was so sweet, and she painted my toenails so nicely that I really couldn’t complain. My favorite part was the Manicure! I’ve had Gel X before but not nearly as neat and as meticulously done as how Amy did it! I showed her a few inspos and told her I wanted something clean, neutral, and simple, and she understood the assignment! She picked the most perfect color and was considerate of my skin tone. Although I’m not sure if booking online and picking a staff guarantees you get serviced by that staff member (maybe just today because they were behind), I truly enjoyed their service and will definitely be back!

These girls are always nice and very good at what they do! They have reasonable prices and I will definitely continue going to them to get my nails done.
