Went there before my trip to Hawai’i last month, and for my prom last year. Really good price for some super amazing nails! Lily did my set this year, and did a fabulous job (I wish I took a picture)! The photo I have is from prom last year, with a different nail tech, she did great too! The lady who did my pedicure was very sweet as well. 10/10 would recommend to get your nails done.

I’m so happy I found this place! I’ve been trying to find a good nail salon in Alameda since I’ve moved here and I finally have found a place where I can say— I LOVE how my nails turned out. Clean, perfectly shaped! they are so thorough here! They got me right in on a Friday evening around 4 o’clock. All of the ladies are super nice and they shaped my nails perfectly and paid extra attention to detail. I will be coming back!

Would give them 4.3/5 stars I booked an appointment but still had to wait 20 minutes. They were super busy on a Friday afternoon. I got Gel-X nails here for the first time and they turned out super cute, right in time for Spring! Regular price is $55; think they charged me $15 more - $70 total with design. Process overall took about 1.25 hours, lady was friendly, efficient, and patient. No complaints overall - personal preference would be asking for more flowers. So far, it’s been two weeks and I’ve had no issues. Nails have stayed on, slight lifting but they still look good. I would recommend this place if you’re in Alameda. The nail shop being at South Shore makes it such a convenient location. They do a good job and are super friendly, but I do think there could be better nail techs who could do more complicated designs. I also think their specialty might be pedicures.

This was honestly the worst nail salon experience I’ve had. The place was filthy and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The staff barely paid attention to who was there for appointments or walk-ins, and my nail tech cut me multiple times. She didn’t seem to know what she was doing with Gel X. My nails came out super thick, uneven, and bumpy, and full of fuzzies and strings from a rag. Every time she messed up, she wiped it off with the same gross rag that looked like it had been used on everyone before me. The whole workstation was dirty too. Even if my nails had turned out decent (which they didn’t), I still wouldn’t go back because of how unhygienic and unprofessional the place was. I work in the beauty industry and will confidently say this place is not kept to cleanliness standards. Don’t go.
