Cindy Nails

The first photo is the first set of nails I ever got from this nail salon from a man named Alex. He did great. I showed him a picture I wanted and the nail design turned out really good. However, this time was very different. Not sure why the quality of work/service changed. He was very rough on my nails because he was rushing to get them done. He hurt my toenail while drilling the gel polish off and afterwards my fingernail beds were sore/itching badly for a while. I told him what I wanted and he decided to do what HE wanted to do to my nails anyway. I had to keep kindly telling him “No, I want them like this.” After all, I am paying $100+ for my nails to be done. I would like to get them how I want them. In each set, i’m wearing my natural nails with an acrylic overlay. You can clearly see the difference in the sets. One is thin, smooth on the eyes. The second set is VERY thick and looks like something done from the early 2000s. It’s not the color I asked for at all. If you don’t mind CONSTANTLY having to tell Alex “No, I said I want my nails like this.” Then go for it, but im noticing a trend with these nail salons in general. You tell them what you want and they do what they want to do anyway. Even though YOU are paying THEM, they don’t care. Saving my money and doing my own nails, they look way better when I do them myself.

This is very hard for me because Cindy is an amazing talent. Anyone who knows me knows that I've always been a HUGE supporter of Cindy and her business. When she first moved I was there every two weeks and recruiting anyone that would listen. Now her business has taken off and I'm super proud for her but my last five appointments she has either forgotten about me or rescheduled. I work second shift and time is important to me and I feel like there is a respect that has been lost. I had an appointment today at 11 and at 9am there started the calls if I could come later. It really was the last straw. Instead of the I'm sorry I'll do better it was I'm sorry you're hurt. Like it was my fault I'm offended that this has become a pattern. Her time is important, that's why I'm always on time and show her respect. I understand things come up and appointments need to be rescheduled sometimes but every time is unacceptable. My time is important too. Don't go here if you want to have your appointments honored. This sounds personal and I guess it kind of is. I have been a LOYAL customer for years. I'm leaving my old review to be fair but the lack of respect for customers time is unacceptable. Please do better. Cindy Nails is the best nail salon in Jonesboro. Cindy is the only one that does my nails so they last and look great for weeks. They never break. I will never go anyway else for manicures and pedicures!

I didn’t want to do this but the salon has brought this upon themselves. I went last Friday with a friend of mine to get our nails done. We both got a manicure as well as a pedicure. Both which were subpar. They were done at the same time and rushed. The gel polish top coat was a dark gray and there were bubbles. Not only that but, several of my nails were left sticky. I was unhappy. As was my friend. Same issues. One of the employees was also speaking about me in a rude manner in their native tongue, which luckily, my friend understood. I called to see if we could both have our nails fixed. I was told yes and to come back next day. We come back the next day and both of us ended up changing the colors due to the issues. $18 for her and $36 for me. TO CHANGE THE COLOR. Left the salon with nails even worse than before. My friends nails were also worse. The nail “tech” burned my nail beds, cut my cuticles, and destroyed my nails. She did the same to my friend. AND, left us both with an infection. I called again once I got home to ask for a refund and was promptly denied. They don’t do refunds. Final sale. Nowhere on their website, Facebook Page, Store, Business Card, or even receipt does it say no refund/final sale. They offered to fix it again free of charge but this time, it had been done twice and both times were horrible. I didn’t want to give them another chance I wanted my money back. I ended up going into the store to ask for a refund after waiting on a call back that clearly wasn’t going to happen. Jackie was disrespectful. He gaslit me and called my character into question. Meanwhile, he is rolling his eyes, scoffing, sighing, and just being down right unprofessional. Refusing a refund. He said that his reviews and rating speak for themselves but little does anyone know, they ask people to review while they are sitting in front of them. Most of these reviews were somewhat forced and, these individuals who review are offered 10% off every visit if you just review which is, buying reviews if you ask me. I will not be going back. I will not be recommending this salon. I’ve lived in Jonesboro for about 17 years now. I’ve been to every nail salon here, that was here. I have been given a refund a couple of times and if you really care about the customer or your work speaks for itself, you wouldn’t be so defensive and rude.

Cindy just recently opened up her new salon in the space next to Five Guys burgers, and I’m so excited for her! I have been using Cindy for a few years now, and I couldn’t imagine going to any one else. She is the best and always knows exactly what I want, even if I don’t know what I want for my nails! She works so hard, and I highly recommend her and her team at Cindy Nails!

Cindy is literally the BEST!! the sweetest and friendly staff! I never leave without loving my nails every time! I do heavy weight lifting and let me tell you… my nails do not move or budge! i’m so rough on my nails and i can go a month without any lifting or broken nails! gym girl approved❤️‍🔥💪🏼 💛💛💛
