NuTrends Nails & Spa

went in around 11:11 a.m. for a simple nail removal and asked for a quote. The man gave me one and then asked a woman to look at my nails. I explained I didn’t have much time, and the shop was completely empty. She told me she didn’t have time, that they were on lunch, and I’d need to come back—even though no one else was there. When I asked why, she said they had appointments later. The interaction was rude, dismissive, and left me feeling racially profiled. Very unprofessional experience. My nails were already cut too would of took maybe 10 min

Very poor quality, my nails didn't even last 1 week! I'm really disappointed! I paid $60 for my nails to start peeling off after the 2nd day! I don't know what materials they use but I find it serious to see how much they don't last. I did my nails on the 2nd! Here they are on the 7th... I'm on vacation, I don't do any cleaning and no sudden movements... Hello, I never reported a dance competition. I actually had my nails done because I didn't have any of that afterward. You never mentioned the 3-day guarantee, so no one can know. I couldn't come back because I had already left town. Don't make excuses; no matter the situation, your nails are supposed to last. And they didn't even last 2 days; it's in no way the customer's fault. A week is even perfect to assess the quality of your service, because the proof is that nothing lasted, and like I said, I'm on vacation, so I didn't do ANYTHING.

I really wanted to like this place. I was excited when I found it a few months ago. Loved the atmosphere, very relaxing and the technician worked super fast (I legit thought she was going to start a fire on my fingers with the file it was so fast!), which was great bc with my baby boy at home and having to find someone to watch him, I thought it was a great solution. However, recently, I was unable to find a link online to make an appointment so when I went in I had to wait. Again, time being of the essence, I went to a new salon instead. The new place comment on how uneven my finger nails were, which I had actually noticed but was dealing with it out of convenience. Then, while giving my pedicure, the new place had to remove a ton of skin from my toes that built up over my last 3 pedicures with NuTrends. I'm 7 months pregnant, so since going to NuTrends, I haven't been able to bend down to see the build up for myself. When the new tech was literally pulling out clumps of skin they left, I knew I wouldn't be going back to NuTrends. It was convenient, but the service wasn't very thorough. I will say, it's nice to see the timer during the foot massage.

Overall happy with my nails! But…I felt the girl I got was rushed and I had to point out a few times the quality of the French tip outline. I felt she could have taken more time ensuring the quality was great, specially when I paid $85+ for these nails and left a tip. I didn’t realize until I step outside how bumpy one of my nails looks from the side and how there was another one that was already chipped. Again they still look great and she was polite but feel she could’ve taken my feedback better.

I have been going here for years and always have a great experience! I always get complimented on the different designs and look of my nails. Love that I can go in and both techs know my go-to colors, shape, and designs but will also give great recommendations for something new.
