2025-12-15After reading reviews of many salons, I chose Scottsdale Hand and Foot for a pedi and hard gel fill. I called and spoke to the owner, Chandler who assigned Tina for my services. After a good pedi, we moved onto the fill. Since I don't wear my glasses during services and try to relax, I didn't know until later what happened: When I got home, I had to reshape all of the nails which were literally crooked. During the night, my nails were throbbing. The only way this can happen after a fill is if they were drilled too much into the natural nail. The polish was messy, it didn't cover the entire nail. When I got back to my home state, I decided to book a polish change with my regular salon. Immediately we could see the fungus on my left thumb nail. The FIRST time I EVER got a nail fungus in MY ENTIRE LIFE!!! In addition, we could see that the nails were over drilled, leaving many spots without any gel. I texted the Scottsdale Hand and Foot to cancel the next appointment I had made, along with the picture of the fungus and a note of the bad service I was provided. The response I got was "sorry about that Shari." I responded asking for a refund and heard nothing back. While I do not have a habit of writing public reviews, I felt the need to write this one as a public service. What I experienced is unacceptable to say the least. The business should refund what I spent without question!!!

2025-05-17Wow. My gel nails have lasted over 4 full weeks. I’m shocked?? And I am night easy on my nails from my perspective either. Got these for my wedding. My toes (not gel) still look ok a month later but not like my gel nails. Damn! Photo for 4 week growth. All nails intact and none are peeled off!
