Pretty Q Nails & Spa (Main Street Verrado)

I had a wonderful experience my first time to this salon. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. The shop is clean and comfortable. I wanted to get ombré nails for my upcoming cruise and Nick did an excellent job designing fun nails that are vacation ready! I also got a pedicure and it was relaxing as well. Highly recommend.

So I've been coming here for several months and service has been amazing. However the last few times have been pretty bad. The last 2 sets not including the fix today were chipping/peeling. Looking horrible after only a few days. I go in today to get them fixed change my look and decide on purple with bats. I'm not joking when I tell you this woman couldn't figure out while looking at the picture how to do them. They look horrendous, i asked her to do a second coat of purple she didn't, & they look like a 3yr old drew the bats on. I'm extremely very much thoroughly disappointed. I spend money here to get my nails done pretty because I'm disabled/ terminally ill and it's the only thing I have control over. It really sucks when I spend the money and they come out looking like this.. I'll post pics of my last set (the black/glitter/ghosts within 3 days of getting them done then what was done today(purple with bats) Very bummed right now. Especially cause I love the owner he's such an awesome guy, but think this might be the last time I come here

Nick always does an amazing job! My last set has lasted 5 weeks (i have 2 under 2 need time to go in😭) but always great customer service from all staff!

Followed Van here, I have had her as my nail tech for YEARS! She always gives the BEST pedicures! This new shop is very spacious, and beautiful, a big plus for all their massage chairs working 100%! Everyone is very friendly, will definitely be returning! My teen daughter also had a pedicure from Lily and she did an amazing job! Also love that they don’t try to be pushy and upsale you.

I have visited this shop a total of 4 times since they opened and only my very first visit was a good experience. They advertise on their services menu that they do acrylic and builder gel manicures. The second visit I went in and asked for an acrylic set (asked for the same thing the first visit and was convinced to try TAP gel instead and I didn’t care for it). Well the lady goes to do my “acrylic” set and pulls out the TAP gel. I stopped her and she said tap was better and it would be the same price even though the TAP gel is advertised slightly higher. Well that set lasted a week before it started lifting. Now this current visit on 7/9/25, I asked for builder gel and once again they said TAP gel overlay is better and pushed for me to do that instead. I should have walked out but since I was already there I just gave in and went for it. Well my TAP gel started chipping and lifting on several nails within a few hours. I went back today to get it taken off because I’m going on vacation and don’t want to deal with the stress of what if they break again after they fix it. I asked for a refund, they said no and offered a 20% off for the next visit. I didn’t take it because I will not be returning. I will be letting my friend in the area know the poor quality of service that I experienced with them. I took a loss of $60 and now have no fresh manicure for my trip.
