Magic Nails Spa

Welp, I spent quite a bit for a 15 minute pedicure all because the dude said it was nice weather and he was on a live? Same with getting a full nail set. If they don't have time they shouldn't give the okay to come in. My nails are crooked. I also had to wipe off the wax from my shoes because they didn't wipe it off well enough on my feet. These are my last acrylics before I work in the field of work they don't allow acrylics

I went in to enjoy a pedicure and a manicure. I know my nails were short. But I was told to get the $70 pedicure with an extra $10 for shellac I will like it. I would be willing to spend $120 for a great pedicure. But instead my pedicure was not enjoyable as the manicure was rushed while getting it. I had a pillow they put on my lap moving all the time, didn’t get to enjoy the spa chair and was not relaxed at all. It was the fastest manicure pedicure I have ever had. 40 minutes tops for both together. My husband has done my manicure better than this. As soon as an another customer came in. She didn’t even massage my other hand with lotion. Before I moved to an island that does not have a nail salon. I was looking forward to a great pedicure and manicure. Instead I was rushed, nails are not evenly filed , colors are heavy on some nails and missing color on the bottom parts of my nail. Then when I was checking out. The lady said” your card keeps saying cancelled. Do you have another “. I said it’s your machine. I was not declined. So she said to call my bank. I did. I had to play on speaker to her my balance , available and no card purchase were declined. Then she ran it again and it went through. I told her I had polish on my skin. After the card went through. She said you just need to wash your hands. I literally have no problem paying for great service. But it was less then 40 minutes. Not happy with the results.

Nancy is wonderful! She is always willing to work around and make you appointment work! She is knowledgeable and does a lovely job. There’s a variety of colors and products and we enjoy going there!

My experience here was not good. I asked if an ombre style was possible (showed the manicurist the blue ombre with snowflakes photo as a reference). They said it was so I went for it. The result was heavily dissapointing. There was no ombre effect, the product used was applied thick, so much so that there was some stuck inside my nail which I had to work to scrape off at home. Not only that, the manicure process itself was just rushed and sloppy. No oils used, no prepping the nails beforehand and product was still leftover around my nails at the end. I was even charged an extra $25 due to the powders used to do the "ombre" but I didn't get that. It was an expensive lesson learned and I wish I had just said I didn't like the service when I was there. But I didn't and that's on me. An expensive lesson but I at least know that I will not return here and I can't recommend this place to anyone.

This was my first time getting a set of acrylics!! Everyone was very nice. I think the nails speak for themselves! They look great! Exactly what I was wanting :) I will say that there was a little cut on my finger from the shaping but that was my only issue!
