Royal Nails

I had an appointment at 9am. I came in, showed the design I wanted, and was sat immediately. I confirmed with nail tech when she came over that she could do the design. She told be that I would be charged extra for the design, no problem! Everything was great until it was time to do the design. It was supposed to be a golden chrome outline under white French tips (see picture). She tried to do the design for about 20 minutes before I asked for it to be removed. I decided to just do French tips (see picture ) since she couldn’t do the design correctly. The French is chunky, but I had already been there for nearly two hours and I didn’t have time for any other changes. In total, I was charged $70 and it was a complete waste of time and money. I won’t be back anytime soon. This is so disappointing because this design is for my graduation.

I’ve never left a review in my life, but I felt this needed it. I paid $60+ for a French tip gel manicure, pink on the bottom and silver tips. I also did not expect to pay near this much but they were requested for my best friend’s wedding that I was in. They didn’t even last a full week. The silver had chipped within a day or two and by 5 days in the edges were lifting and the pink was clearly very splotchy color wise. I went to a different nail salon to get them removed after 6 days. I don’t get my nails done often so this should have felt like a treat to me. Instead I feel I wasted my money and am truly disappointed and frustrated since this was for such a huge event in mine and my friends life. I also heavily researched where to go and read great reviews about royal nails. Very disappointed by my experience overall.

Hanna did a great job! She was also very patient as well. I will be coming back to see her.

This was my first time going to Royal Nails and it was truly a wonderful experience. From the moment I called to make an appointment and walked into the salon, all of the staff was so kind and attentive. It was a busy day and they again were so efficient and very attentive to everyone that was walking in. Now to rave about my nail tech Hanna!! She was above and beyond fantastic!!! Truly 1000/10!! ⭐️ She was very keen to detail and she kept asking me if everything looked good to make sure if any changes needed to be made. I’m truly so happy I found this place and will definitely be returning and referring all of my friends and family.

I have always had the best experience at Royal Nails! Kevin is the best and gave me exactly what I wanted. I have tried a few different places in Birmingham, but I keep coming back here! They are always kind and do a great job.
