Solar Nails

I have been going to solar nails for almost 2 years now and up until a couple of months ago Kimberly did a good job on my nails. Kimberly the owner asked me to leave a review for the business because she had received a bad one. I did because like I said she had always done a good job. Well after I left the review her service on my nails declined and has gotten worse each time. Kimberly told me I was OCD because I wanted my nails to be straight and even and done properly. Today when I left from getting my nails done.. I had to go and buy a nail file and straighten them out myself! When I am paying for a service .. I MOST DEFINITELY DO NOT WANT TO HAVE TO SPEND MORE MONEY TO FIX WHAT KIMBERLY MESSED UP! I WOULD STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO FIND ANOTHER NAIL SALON THAT CONSISTENTLY DOES A GOOD JOB .. AND THAT YOU DO NOT HAVE TO SPEND MORE MONEY TO FIX THEIR MISTAKES! I WAS GOING TO LEAVE THIS OFF OF MY REVIEW..HOWEVER I FEEL LIKE IT IS SOMETHING EVERYONE SHOULD BE MADE AWARE OF BEFORE GOING TO SOLAR NAILS. I GOT A NAIL FUNGUS FROM HERE AND KIMBERLY LIED RIGHT TO MY FACE AND SAID IT WAS NOT A FUNGUS. IT IS DEFINITELY A FUNGUS AND I WOULD THINK TWICE IF I WERE YOU.. BEFORE GETTING ANY SERVICES DONE AT SOLAR NAILS IN GULF SHORES ALABAMA!

It was my first time there and i will be continuing to come there. Kimberly is my GIRL already. So kind, clean place, she is very talented and nailed down my shape perfectly. Helped me find the perfect red which took more work than anticipated and she was so patient. I would recommend anyone to come here!

I’m on summer beach vacation with family. We only come once a year so it’s a pretty big deal when we come. I knew that my last nails I had done on (tips, dipped) were probably not going to make it through the trip. Our condo is 20 minutes away from this salon, but it was the closest. My husband heard me mention many times the annoyance of my nails otw. 3.5 hour drive 🫠 The next morning he went to get some groceries , saw the place, googled it and said good reviews. So I called and said hey I’m on my way and they said come on with it. So I drove 20 min to spend I knew was going to be an hour there. And my girl Lily matched me up real pretty! Will try to attach photos. One will be the layout I showed her the second is her work. Highly recommend if visiting or residing in this area!!!!

What a wonderful place! I had a full set of Solar Nails done by Lilly. She did a fantastic job. My husband had a manicure and a pedicure. We both will be back next time we are here. The owners run a top notch business.

I'm a tourist on vacation & went in today for a gel mani with a design on a stormy morning. It was busy, but they still managed to get me in quickly. Jessie was my tech. She & the tech next to her were great conversationalists & very friendly. We talked about all kinds of different subjects. Jessie did a beautiful job on my nails & even gave me a good price without my asking. Great service, staff, & quality nails. I'll be sure to get my nails done at Solar Nails the next time I'm in Gulf Shores.
