Mini's Nails

I was in town for work and really needed my nails done. I had such a wonderful 1st time experience. I felt welcomed annd comfortable … and my nails? OBSESSED! Even though I live an hour away, they gained a loyal customer today.

This is my second time coming. The first time the two ladies did my nails and they did good. This time the man did my nails and OMG he is horrible at polishing/ doing nails. I can’t believe he thinks he did a good job.. waste of my time and money. Avoid if you want your nails to look good

my overall experience is not friendly. To be specific I have been going for years and there have been times where I was not satisfied with the service prior to having Katie do my nails. I was encouraged to say something if I don’t like the nails so that’s what I did, just little things the nails being lumpy, even length, cuticle bleeds, etc. I always care about how I make the people who service me comfortable in during our encounter and ask if I’m being too picky. Many times prior to the experience I had today I’ve been told that I was just very specific/that it was fine… so on. I always try to reassure that the nail techs are doing a good job during the service if I do speak about my dissatisfaction with something. I always tip after service and thank the nail techs for their time. Unfortunately today the pleasant experience came to an abrupt halt after one of the owners (Kelly) made an assumption about me complaining about the service. I was watching Katie do my nails and she said something about the pedicure and I agreed with what she said. I went back to being quiet and admiring the work provided by Katie when Kelly said “Why don’t you go home and do your own nails?” Me not thinking anything of the interaction I joked and said “they’d probably come out crooked if I did them myself” when Kelly then stated “If all you can do is complain then leave” I didn’t respond but I asked Katie if I was looking too hard, to which she said “no”. I was honestly in shock but by the time Kelly decided to voice her assumption in the absolutely rude and unprofessional manner that she did, we were almost finished with the service. During the end of my service I could tell that Kelly was speaking of me in an ill manner but I couldn’t tell what was said because I do not speak their language. I didn’t pay it any mind. I apologized for making anyone uncomfortable during the time that I was serviced and once again reassured Katie that she does a great job. I was told that I couldn’t be satisfied and told I wouldn’t be getting serviced again. I still left a tip just out of kindness and proper representation of myself and left. This all came as a surprise for sure and I had no indication that they were uncomfortable with me voicing my wants out of the service. Which I thought was normal. I wouldn’t recommend this shop out of sheer unpredictability of professionalism.

Wow! This place is great. DJ was very attentive and took the time needed to make my feet pretty again! Will be back! Prices were very good as well.

I love the attention given to my cuticles. I've had mani's and pedi's at other places and they were ok but Mini Nails always does the best job.
