Star Nails

I went in to get a pedicure today. I told the man who started me out that I wanted the most expensive pedicure they offer because I'm a dancer and my feet take a lot of abuse so I'm really just looking for a really nice foot massage. He took care of the scrubbing and nail trimming/filing, but then switched to someone else when it came to do the massage, hot stones, etc. She hardly massaged me, just stoked my legs while she watched the TV behind her. Didn't even touch my feet other than to spread the lotion to them. I'm very disappointed that I expressed what I specifically wanted and didn't get even a little bit of it. I'm literally about to go to the salon down the street JUST to get a massage. I'm very disappointed because I used to go to Star a lot and loved it. Today it just felt like they didn't care like they used to. The staff was nice, but just to professional standards. I tipped her well when I paid because I still believe people should get paid for labor, but I won't be coming back. This really bummed me out today when I was really looking for some relaxation.

Good experience overall but the acrylic fill I got was a little messy and rushed. It didn't seem like the gel was thick enough either as it got scuffed and started chipping which is something Ive never experienced. Relatively cheap for the area though!

This was my first manicure. The woman was friendly and answered my questions with patience. My mom got a pedicure, she's a regular. This place was recommended for the reasonable prices and incredible hygiene practices. However, flaws developed in my manicure.

I usually come here for a pedicure because it’s affordable $40 and it comes with everything I love: exfoliation, lotion massage, hot towel, hot wax for feet, and hot stone. Their chairs are massage chairs. The staffs are always so friendly and the shop is very clean. Highly recommend!

I went to Star Nails for the first time today, and it was my favorite manicure/pedicure appointment. The staff took their time and did a really nice job on my pedicure and manicure, and were also very friendly. I will definitely go back!
