Love going to Malibu Tan and Spa! Always friendly when booking. My son gets his haircut with Johnny who is the best! Johnny has always done an exceptional job with his fade. My son has mixed hair and it always turns out great. Johnny is friendly, patient, and does great w my son who is somewhat shy. I highly recommend him!

I get my nails done by Alicia at Malibu, she is a beginner but she already shows amazing work! She is a very kind person and always makes sure I am comfortable and happy with my nails😊

I would not recommend Malibu Tan & Spa with Alicia. Nowhere was it disclosed that she’s an apprentice working toward her license—I only found out halfway through my walk-in after noticing skipped prep steps and corner-cutting. Was asked to pay before my set was even finished so the receptionist could leave (after already sitting 2 hours). Showed a clear inspo pic and confirmed she could do it: medium-length coffin with French tips, black base w/ red flames, initials, lettering, pink accents, cross charm, and hearts. Nails were inconsistent in length and shape; coffin not properly tapered. Acrylic application was uneven, lumpy, and didn’t cover the nail bed fully—looked grown out on day one. Prep was sloppy (cuticle work incomplete, skin left behind). Hand-painted art wasn’t layered properly so the color looked patchy instead of solid. No pink gel on hand—she mixed a nude. Offered the wrong charm color (gold instead of silver) and couldn’t match lettering decals. Spent 3 hours in the chair, still left unsatisfied. First nail popped off within a week (9/15) and revealed a cut on my nail plate underneath. This was supposed to be a treat as a stay-at-home mom and instead it was a total letdown. If I’d known she was an apprentice, I never would have came in as this set was for an event I was attending. Overall—not worth the time or money.

Malibu Tan and Spa is the place to be! From their state-of-the-art tanning beds to the wide variety of lotions and incredible red light therapy, this place truly has it all. I’ve never left dissatisfied! I have the platinum package, and let me tell you—it’s worth every penny. My tan is always fast, even, and flawless, and the compliments on my glowing skin just keep rolling in! Plus, there’s never a wait for a bed, which makes the whole experience so seamless. Malibu Tan and Spa consistently delivers the best tanning experience I’ve ever had. They never miss a beat, and I can’t imagine going anywhere else!
