Lotus Spa Eau Claire

My experience at Lotus Spa — specifically with Dr. Michelle Facer — was extremely disappointing. After their new online scheduling system led me to accidentally book the wrong date, I contacted them and instead of any understanding or basic customer care, I was told the policy couldn’t be adjusted. What shocked me even more was that Dr. Facer refused to speak with me directly. As the medical director and business owner, she had her front desk staff handle her decision for her. And the decision was this: I would still be charged for the appointment I accidentally scheduled — but I was welcome to book a new appointment for next week and pay for that one as well. That’s the level of customer service and leadership she chose to provide. I was in the process of booking additional services, but this experience made it clear my business should go elsewhere. Very disappointing.

Wonderful service! I very much enjoyed relaxing and felt comfortable w the kind and welcoming massage therapists.

My mom and I had Janel for our services, and she was absolutely amazing! From start to finish, she made the experience so enjoyable. She was fun, comforting, and easy to talk to. We felt at ease throughout the entire session, and her positive energy made it a wonderful experience. Highly recommend her!!!

The facial was wonderful, and the service was excellent. However, I encountered an issue when trying to pay with a gift card I received within the past year, as I was informed it had expired. Unfortunately, the expiration date or policy wasn’t indicated on the card. As a result, I had to cover the $180 cost of the services that day, in addition to forfeiting the $300 value of the gift card. Interestingly, they no longer sell gift cards, which makes me wonder if there’s a connection between the expiration of gift cards and the financial decision to stop selling them? EDIT/UPDATE: Michelle from Lotus called to inform me that she found my gift card, and it is not expired. It is valid until June 2027. I asked her to credit my credit card for the services and debit the gift card instead. She agreed and suggested that I remove this review. There was no explanation for the error.

Randi was amazing! I had the 90 minute massage- and it was so worth it. She was kind and welcoming, and did a fantastic job with the massage. She took her time to work on all the knots in my neck and back, and it was clear that she paid extra attention to where I needed it most. I would highly recommend her services.
