Urban Nail Box - Fremont

I love Urban nail box so much! Been going to the Fremont one basically since it opened and everyone there is so kind and talented. I’m never disappointed. You can also Aroom matcha drinks delivered right to your station which is such a great touch and makes it feel extra special.

I’ve been going to Urban Nail Box for a little over a year and I see Sofia for a Tier 1-3 gel manicure every time — her attention to detail, artistry, and care is what I had been searching for in a nail tech! As a chronic cuticle biter who did their own nails for years, I was so worried to trust someone else with my hands. Sofia is precise, notices issues before I do, treats my nails with care, and executes every vision I have perfectly. Plus she — and everyone who works here —seems just as excited to create beautiful new nail art as I am to have it. I’m so picky and critical about nail shape and every set has been perfect. I came here by chance for my bachelorette nails and ended up having Sofia do my wedding nails too. They’re also super accommodating if I break a nail and need to add on a gel extension - just call ahead to be conscious of their other appointments!

Updated on 8/17: The management team reached out, explained what had happened, and showed genuine care for my recovery. I appreciate that they reflected on their procedures and took steps to make things right. I’ll be returning to have my gel removed, healed, and reconstructed—hopefully polished again. Their willingness to listen and put customers first makes me confident this place deserves another chance. And Kaylee is one talented nail artist. Original: Paid $120 here and the manicure barely lasted a week. I specifically asked for a rubber band gel to protect my nails, but they kept reassuring me my nails “aren’t that fragile.” Within days, three nails chipped—one crack went deep into the nail bed. When I went back, all they offered was to “let it heal.” Not worth the money or the hassle.

I came here for a pedicure as a treat for my birthday and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The staff was friendly and attentive, the drinks looked amazing, the chairs were comfy, and my technician was FABULOUS! We chatted every once and a while as she could tell I wasn’t interested in being on my phone the whole Time and I appreciated her recognizing that. My toes look GREAT!

From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and taken care of. Uri is not only incredibly skilled and precise, but also creative and thoughtful with every detail. If you're looking for someone who truly cares about their work and makes you feel pampered every step of the way, Uri is it. 10/10 highly recommend! 🌟
